In the UK hardly anyone drives autos. In fact I've never driven or even been in one. I remember when I took my test if you were tested in an auto you could only drive autos. If you were tested in a manual then you can drive what ever you want. Seems pretty daft since if I got into an automatic I wouldnt know what to do. I love my stick

Well yeh, I agree with you. Its the same over here to a degree. My point is though, I really can't see why they would feel the need to censor my story. I don't feel like there are any border line issues involved...? Meh maybe in biased lol

Well as some of you may know Ive started a new story. The first chapter is posted at efiction. I decided to post on nifty as well. So I send it in via my hotmail account, two days go by without a reply so I think hmm maybe I messed up and didnt acctually send it. So I resent it using my main mail account, then 4 hours later I get a relpy..... Basically the guy there told me he was 'a little concerned about the direction.' Ok... so whats that about?!? I emailed them back asking what their concerns are... Now I understand the submission guidelines so maybe he's worried after reading the chapter that there will be assault on a minor... I dunno, I guess I just need to wait for a reply. Ive read some pretty weird shit on there, so I have no idea why there worried about my posting.... If you've read Viv's blog post you'll know her gift if on its way to her... I really hate filling in the little customs slips, espicially if it's a gift, since all she has to do it look at it and she'll know whats in the box. I know it makes sense since its all about tax laws and stuff. Cause lets face facts a terrorist isnt gonna write Anthrax or BOMB! :nuke: on the customs label are they? Somebody on this site tried to get me to write Vibrator or sexual aid on the customs slip , I was so tempted to do it. I just worried a little I'd have MI5 or the FBI at the door for breaking customs laws! lol My little story (posted in efiction/shameless self promotion ) is slowly coming along. Ive only got two pages of chapter 5 written. Thats not too bad since 1 - 4 are almost 20,000 words in total. I need to think fast on something to do for Chris's birthday, Ive already bought his gift after the constant hints he thrown my way Im thinking maybe a nice romantic dinner since neither of us can get away just now. Sweetie , your NOT allowed to open the package untill the 20th ok! Anyhoo, better get back to the written word ... people are moaning already about delays.. I don't know how the likes of Dom cope! Hey Its been kinda a while..... So today has just been kinda weird. Chris is sick, I think he has the flu, he's got the usual symptoms and he's puked a little too, (nice I know ) so Ive been looking after him all day. Then eariler I got a call from my Mum. She talked for over half and hour when she said this.... I was in the loft the other day, oh! I found your old tennis racket it was right next to a box of papers. I found all the stuff on we kept about the miscarriage. Hold the phone! What F*cking misscarrige??? So she went on to tell me how between having my sister and me she misscarried a baby at 20 weeks, I cant believe I was never told this. She said something like, oh im sure we told you hun.. Umm no I'd remember that! So after her telling me that, I looked up info on misscarriages I read that if you misscarry after 20 weeks its classed as a still born baby. I need to talk to her face to face about this. I had a brother/sister I never knew about. For those of you that care, Jon and Craig are still going strong. Ive picked the pressie were sending over the pond for Viv's bday Hugs to my sweetie Headache tablets to Joe.... hope the hangover wasnt bad Timmy hope your sleeping soundly... Kev... Much respect to you Dom. However you've decided to finish the story, I know it's going to be great. The cliffhanger at the end of 35 I will admit shocked me, I totally wasn't expecting it. But thats one of the many things I love about your writing, I don't ever know what's around the corner. I think that helps to make your stories more real. Too many Net authors follow what i like to call a little story recipie card, add all the ingredents mix it up a little, and bam! Youve got your story. Greatly anticipating your next chapter Dave
