Yes, @centexhairysub and @Geoffrey257 , Lord Maynor did explain to High King Aglaron earlier on that he was influencing a human to make Keryth's life more challenging.

Thanks Will, This is rather interesting - I didn't even think of 'walking stick' as being an Aussie term. You're spot on about the pancakes too. 'Duffer' hasn't been used as a term for cattle thieves for ages now, though I did hear my dad use it on occasion. It is a put down now, but with a friendly connotation. I'm delighted you're enjoying the story and I hope it continues to hold your interest. The Ocean Walk too. - I haven't been able to respond till now.
