Well, almost have to wonder how long till Clifton is in Granger's bed. I know that was tacky but... I do admit that Clifton seems to be a real ass. I guess being that rich/powerful as such a young age would do that to a lot of people.

Granger was just so masterful. He was able to handle Travers and Robey both with no problem. He seems to have helped Travers start to overcome his issues; damn does he have a reason to be pissed at Jardines. I would hate to see what happens if they ever meet up.

I adore Granger and I think the portrayl as written is magnificent but I am not sure that anyone can be in love with as many people as Granger is currently. I understand being in lust with some and in love with others but Granger really seems to be in love with them all...

Having Lennox go to Sir John's staff would be a sign of favour for both Lennox and Granger. Just one more thing to mark Granger as someone to be reconned with. I do find Cavendish very appealing, more than all but one of Granger's lovers. That being said, I do wonder how many pieces George's heart can be divided into.

Quite an honor to hoist the flag of Sir John, but I am not sure that Granger is all that excited. This could be an experience that he will wish for an end to quickly. Granger just seems to understand just what to do and say in every experience.

Snap... I knew there was something about Jardines taking off and Travers but I did not think they were actually involved... I can't wait to see where this goes. I can't remember, who is the other Royal?

The Earl knew enough to take Granger to see the King to get his side out. It was a plus that the Duke of Clarence was there, although that was probably the King's idea to check the information. I was not suprised by Arthurs statement. I have sensed something about this is going to be an ongoing issue. I do hope in this case that Caroline follows George's lead.

As long as Howard continues to back him up, I don't see how Granger can not win this war of words with Wilcox. This may damage Wilcox beyond repair. Granger has the luck of the Irish. This ship would have been worth a fortune. He will have every Captain in the British Navy green with envy.

This will have to be played just right, Portugal is an ally and anything that involved her could really blow up in Granger's face.

Howard will need Granger's help but I have to feel that when everything gets out, Wilcox is going to come out the loser here. I do have to wonder how Cavendish is going to fit into Granger's already crowded field..

Wilcox is going to find he has hell to pay. Not only did he basically leave Granger out to dry, he got young Cavendish hurt in the process. I would not give a plug nickle for this reputation after this gets out...

An interesting way to maintain discipline. I am not sure it would work well on every ship but seems to be working out here...

Damn, did not see that coming with Winkler and Jeffers. I hope they are enjoying each other. I do hope that Lennox and Granger continue to experiment but I am curious about Cavendish. I just don't understand these Wilcox...

A frigate against a ship of the line really isn't a fair fight but I would guess that Granger will come away blooded but alive. I hope the battle isn't too bad. I do hope that Granger and Travers have more of a chance to make up..

Preston would be peeved, two people that use to report to him are now Post Captains while he is still just a Commander. I am glad that Granger did not do anything to harm his reputation. Travers and Granger will always care for each other but they have both grown in some unexpected ways....

Not sure that either Granger or Travers is really right or wrong, they just are stubborn and each has their own point of view to consider. I hope they make up soon. The vagaries of war make it very hard to know when you see someone off if you will ever see them again. I have to wonder if Arthur is involved in the issue with Travers in some way???

Granger's last statement has the feeling of a lie... Glad to see Travers, even if it is just for a little bit...

Well, I for one just can't be upset about Calvert. The man just annoys me to no end. It is a compliment to Granger for him to be given such a choice command as his first one. I hope he does well, just far away from Granger.

Have to wonder what the story with Jardines is? I wonder if we will find out later... I do appreciate how Granger handles Arthur and the rest and still is paying court to Caroline.

A visit from the First Lord of the Admiralty would be a major coup for anyone. I have to wonder if there is something else at play here. Glad to see that Granger is paying more attention to Caroline. He needs to make sure they are on the same page working toward the same goal...

Damn, Nana reminds me of Tonto in all the best ways... I loved how she took charge of Ethan. I do think that Wade is right in that one day Ethan will have to enter the Danfield world at least to some extent and he is totally unprepared for it. I would have thought any school that the Senator sent his son to would have had cotillion or some type of classes dealing with manners and such. Brad really seems to be in a better place after his trip to Claremont. I hope that he does embrace Robbie's desire to help Claremont and those that live there. I was even proud of how he handled Brenda. Brenda does have some family, her husband and oldest son and his kids; but I doubt any of them really gave her a chance to grieve for Robbie and no matter what she needs to be able to do that. WOW, Will actually did something sexual with someone close to his age... I am not sure how to take that.

This was just a great story and so well written. I do find that I enjoy this story more and more as it goes on. I am drawn in to the story and the people that inhabit it. I really care about all of those in the story, yes even Calvert. I have to wonder if Granger will make it all the way back to India. It seems that he has been traveling more than someone in his position would be. I can see them wanting the ship out of the area when the story of the murder of the Captain and first and what caused the mutiny but India seems like a little too far. Caroline handled the truth better than I expected, not that I ever thought she would even consider a divorce. I have to believe that she must have suspected this at least to some extent.

This would really make Granger amoung the youngest to ever reach the Post Captain rank. I can't think of anyone that would deserve it more. Granger handled himself well in America and is now ready to move on to bigger and better ships and places.

Another successful mission even if they left today, they captured the grain transport and got another ship and found the letter that will help the Jay Treaty pass. I have to say that I find the writing in this story just first rate. You really get a feeling that you are in the past with Granger and Co....

Heading back to Englad with a stop in America first, but without Humphreys and FitzWilliams, at least they will be back together.
