Damn, got an extra ship and then to lose Rattlesnake is just bad luck. I hope it doesn't hurt Fellowes to much when they arrive in Madras. I can see Granger with FitzWilliams better than I can see him with Calvert.

Well, the ploy worked and Granger has another coup to be proud of. I do admire that he tried to give Captain Bergland as much credit as he could even to Fellowes.

Granger must have a bigger set of balls than most of those he encounters; to try and pull off something like this with the frigate is dangerous at best. I don't doubt that he will pull it off but damn...

A truly daring plan and one that appears to be working out. I do hope that everything goes okay and they can burn the schooners. This would be quite a coup. Now if they can just avoid the frigate on the exit they will be okay. Granger's reaction to Holmquist just goes to show why Calver and he should not be tied together.

Not sure it was a good think that Calvert and Granger have made up; I have to admit that I just don't care for Calvert. I have to hope that Granger comes up with something to destroy the ships at Ille de France and get back to Fellowes and the fleet.

This shows why I don't think that Calvert is the one for Granger. It just isn't practical to be that possessive after only being together for such a short time. This is going to cause issues all the way around at some point...

Happy to have Granger back with Fellowes. I have to say that he seems to fit Granger better than I think Calvert does. I can't what plan Granger comes up with to deal with the French.

Granger is smart. That was the perfect ruse to fool the French ship. Something that few would have thought to try, or had the guts to do. Well, I am amazed that the Spanish was that generous. This is a good start to the voyage and will make it profitable probably no matter what...

I am not sure that I think that Calvert is the right kind of person to be involved with Granger but it isn't really for me to say... Glad to see that the battle was no more difficult than it was; with the two ships already invovled I guess it was lucky for Granger.

Hmmm, I already see problems ahead. Calvert is going to be the kind of man that allows passion to over-rule his brain. This is not going to be someone that Granger needs to be involved with...

Well, Hell, I have to wonder what the emergency is; it better be good to have interrupted that... I am glad to see the back of Mr Carmody, I really think he would have continued to disrupt the ship.

Damn, that was a rough way to start the voyage but it had to be done. I do worry about Carmody as well, have to wonder how long he will last. Calvert was quite brave to be that forward with a new Captain but it does say something about him...

Well, off to India, that would be a death sentence for some as the trip was long and hard and the disease you encountered once you reached there was one that made it hard for those not use to the climate... Glad to see that Granger and Caroline are still getting along.

Glad to see that Granger is not going to act like so many landowners of that era; those that choose to do what they could to improve the estate and the lives of the workers ususally ended up in better shape anyway. The problem is that so many just wanted to money and did anything they could to maximize the returns without any additional investments.

Granger had to play to three very differnt audiences but handled all three with a skill unusual for someone of his age, even those with like advantages. I really enjoy seeing Granger handle himself in these type of situations.

Granger is home and with his family. Great to see that he and Caroline are still connecting so well. Granger also is going to do what he can to make sure that the action is portrayed in the best light possible.

Well, at least Granger understands that he will need to get the information on the ships so that when he gets to England; he can give a better accounting of himself.

Hood is showing a lot of faith in Granger and his ability. Not just in getting the fleet back to England but in making the necessary explanations that will be needed. Wel, a new person for Granger to try and help. I have to wonder if this isn't going to be something Granger is going to always be doing..

So sad to lose Mr Shafte like this, especially since it was because the Spanish were not prepared to do their jobs... Granger handled himself well, but what more could anyone expect.

Of the two coming to realize something, I think that Travers had the biggest revelation. It seems strange to me that he would not have already realized the extent that Granger's family would have played in getting him his promotion. Granger knows that he needs to be more careful and think of the consequences of his actions, but his lower head over-rules his brain some.

I am not sure who was luckier, Jeffers or Granger... I like how Granger seems to understand just how to handle each situation. He is as comfortable, at least outwardly, with his on class as he is with those below and above him.

Well, it seems that Jeffers is the kind of man to make any bottom happy. I do have to say that I enjoy Granger more as a bottom than as a top. Granger was smart enough to know that the Admiral was up to no good. With Chilton's assist, it appears they will at least have a edge on the prize money.

George loves John but he will never be able to keep it in his pants. I am not sure that sleeping with Chilton would be a good idea, they are both sort of bottoms anyway. Chilton might just fixate on him instead of Travers
