  1. OMG I can´t believe I´m seeing an new chapter of IDT! I remember thinking that it was the PERFECT story when I read it way back ... and that´s the only thing I remember, actually. I thought this story was dead, so I mourned it properly and moved on. Now I´ll read it all again. Please give us a promise you´ll finish this. I´m so happy. Cheers, Clara
  2. Dear sweet Dom, where are you? Did the flu and/or Satanist boyfriend kill you? I muss your stories so much. Cheers, Clara

  6. I love this story to death. Whenever I´m in Micah´s head, his actions do make perfect sense ... but he´s a little hard to read from the outside! The crazy family they ended up with are very intriguing. Since Micah´s so adamant to pay them back, it´s a clever ruse to buy him tons of expensive stuff. And the little one - it broke my heart when he cried over his torn pyjama pants in ch4 - glad he gets a new one. PJs are a Mommy comfort thing, he needs that. The cat scenes were a hoot: I was being given the evil eye by a green-eyed grey and white striped cat that was sitting on my bed. I shivered. Its eyes were the exact color of Patrick's. I didn't like that at all. There was no way in hell I'd ever let Patrick in my bed, and I found myself silently objecting to having pussy there too. LOL - he might change his mind (about Patric of course, not about pussy!) - I can hope, right? "You can´t get rid of a boy" - I guess Micah new that differently. Very touching. And I like Avery a lot. It´s crazy, but little incidents like taking a cart from the supermarket can get kids like Micah into so much shit when no one´s there to explain their situation a little. Now I hope M. cooks up a storm in the neglected kitchen. Cheers, Clara
  7. I loved the grumpy pissed off 1st person narrative - I have a soft spot for guys with the gift to hate everything and everybody. Anthony seems to have miltiple personalities so far, bully at school and painter/houseguest who

  13. Grrr! This chapter took a lot out of me! First and foremost Thompson Trust is unfit to be a parent, this guy belongs in a straight jacket (yes, I´m a master of puns). I´d like to know wether he always was that barking mad menace to society, or if it has to do with some secret grief or worry, with Milo´s mother maybe ... Is there anything redeeming about him? He must be a hell of a stud if Emily still wants to marry him. I loved how Dom captured Nelson´s devastation and numb shock ... and his minor drug consumption confessions made me smile through the hurt and anger - a little. OKay, Assface - I don´t even care wether he was the one who spread the rumour, he still needs to be punished in the most severe way, at least for the way he treats Nelson when he sees he´s so obviously grieving, not even Jame can be so blind to still interpret that as Nels trying to take advantage of Milo somehow, or to delude himself that Milo doesn´t have feelings for Nels and is better off without him. I wanted to slap him in the face when he told Nels that he "shouldn´t be allowed to get away with it" - with what???!? With being heartbroken? That sounded pretty ominous. They should at least beat information about Milo out of him (hehe, sorry, I was channeling Joe Pesci here for a moment. That would be unacceptable of course). To me the rumour sounds like exactly the thing an overbearing asshole like Dad Trust would come up with - cause he doesn´t give a shit who else has to bear the consequences as long as it´s convenient for him and gives him a reason to make Milo change schools. And I think Milo would go along with it cause he doesn´t think he has a chance to stand up to his dad anyway. Actually, it´s what kids of that age DO when they´re sensitive and not all that confrontational - he doesn´t know yet that his Dad isn´t GOD, otherwise he wouldn´t be so meek and mild when he takes away his paintings for example. But I guess that can change quickly - like, when he sees how much this is all hurting Nelson. The only thing I can´t see is how that cover story could help Milo at his old school if there already were rumours about him being gay, cause nobody who had that suspicion would buy that someone had to make him drunk to have sex with him, right? Now the positive thinking part: I think they should try and make contact/ get information by contacting Milo´s nice friends from his old/nwe school... I bet Haily can persuade Jess (was it Jess?) to give Milo a message or something. I quite liked Brandon´s unflustered attitude ... just like he was unflustered when Nels was to dense to get that he was coming on to him before, LOL. And Nels x-ing out the "Free" on his locker was brillant. Way to go. Clara
  14. Dear Libby - I´m so glad Sawyer´s back, no matter how sad the circunstances. "If relief could be crushing, then that was the name he'd put to the way his lungs constricted in his chest." It was such an intimate, beautiful moment, "change in the air", Sawyers arms around him, and "crushing relief" was perfect – I immediately recognized the feeling. "A single tear rolled down Kate's face. Marc tracked its path over her cheek and into the hollow of her throat, but as he steeled himself to pull away from Sawyer and speak, Kate moved. She drew in a deep, silent breath, straightened, and relinquished her hold on the doorframe. Her hands fluttered nervously over her skirt. More tears fell from her eyes. But she smiled at him. The world righted itself a few degrees." I like the balance of shame and relief in that paragraph. In a way it´s the best thing that could have happened to Marc; he´s far to devastated anyway to get real upset about it. But Kate – being able to smile in that situation is a great gift she´s making to Marc. I´ve wondered before if she had a feeling something didn´t quite add up in Marcs behaviour? Good to get some backstory on Marc and Aunt May. But are Marc´s parents for real?? Do they expect him to be happy to see them? I so hope Aunt May left the house to Marc. Well, in an afterthought – if not he could move in with Sawyer … But they both seem prone to unexpected & unwanted visitors, so, hmmm … J. Cheers, Clara
