Loved every bit of this chapter especially the fact that everything seemed so nice, happy and friendly that once George was alone with the prince, the “real situation” cames out. I’m sure that the prince considered all of George’s exploits as he worked to paint a picture of what difficulties lay in front of our hero in an attempt to preempt the mission. Thank you Mark and team!

I am a bit distressed but it certainly has nothing to do with Mark in the story… I can’t seem to figure out why it is that I’m not getting notified in a timely manner when my favorite authors post stories that I am following. I’m reading this on the evening of April 29, well beyond the date it was posted. I will have to contact One of the site admins to figure out what is wrong with my settings. OK, now on to the story - It certainly is wonderful to see Cavendish return to his normal state and also that George recognizes the importance of his renewal of affection, confidence and trust in Caroline. I love the way that Granger forced the hand of the Danes to get recognition of the white flag and even more thoroughly enjoyed his facing down Admiral Dickson. It’s fun to think about the legend of Granger spreading when the junior officer shares how Grainger handled Dickson. Thank you Mark and team for another stellar effort!

And to make matters even worse, it was the accursed garlic crusher that betrayed Trevor...

I can only wonder if Trevor’s drawn picture of a goat’s head bears any resemblance at all to our very own cliff(ie)-denying author? This is my third read of Circumnavigation and since it has been a while since the second read, I am finding this to be just as enjoyable as the first time around – bravo CJ & Team!

My feelings echo the reviews prior to my entry here...and i will add: “ It was a dark and stormy night in the Virginia countryside when…”. Oh, a cliffhanger! Bravo Mark and team!

AT LAST - and I mean that to be mostly the beginning of the end of the troublesome George/Caroline state of affairs! As many others have said before me, thank you Mark for the very nice Christmas gift of a new chapter in the Granger saga - it was all that I expected and more. It also afforded me the excuse to go back and read the two previous chapters to get reacquainted with where and what our loved characters have been doing. Wishing you nothing but forward progress as we go into the New Year!

Thank you Mark...I didn't expect to find a chapter so soon thinking it would take you a bit to get back to a regular posting schedule, so this was a happy surprise. I don't think you have missed a beat at all! I really love the scene with Will, Grand, Stef & Matt-there was so much going on. It would seem that the supreme collective wisdom has indeed laid out a roadmap for Will to follow, the question is how long can he follow that guidance? One call does not success make! I guess we'll have to wait and see... Dally – Will? What an interesting next few chapters you have set up for us as we finally get to meet Dally face-to-face so speak. Wondering where it will go and if Will will be cool enough to not let raging hormones get in the way since Dally is in the earliest stages of grief. Part of me thinks it will will do just fine since he seems to be fairly self-aware and quite frankly I think he is able to control his sexual impulses. Gosh, did I really just say that since Christian is about to know Will a lot more intimately... Again, thank you Mark!

Hi Mark – it's been a while since I've logged onto the Forum and shame on me for not earlier sharing my thoughts and wishes for recovery of your health and "other important facets" of your life...my VERY bad! I am so happy to hear that finally you finally have experienced some positive progress to share and what you're doing to further that move back to some degree of normalcy. I have missed teasing you about short chapters/word counts and hope to soon once again twist the tigers tail – So glad to have you back!!!!!!!!!

I need my CJames fix so absent fresh doodlings from our beloved cliff-edge dwelliing goat, it is time to start rereading Circumnavigation again... I know I will enjoy it this time around as much as I did the first time!

I'm not sure whether it was just being busier at work combined with challenges on the personal side or what? All I know is that I miss the outstanding stories and hope that soon he does manage to come back to us with more story updates - that and his interactions with the readers that make comments on the story feedback pages!

Fair enough...you asked if you were being harsh near the end of your post and my gut level reaction was plain enough, so it would seem that we have a different view on the way you expressed your concern. But that's ok... We are on the same page about our concern for Mark given the lack of news and additions to the stories we love!

While everyone is free to have their own opinion and thoughts I don't agree that it is ok to harangue the author, even if you might be frustrated with the current situation. We are reading Mark's (and every other non-premium content author) for free! Enjoy what we have been given so far and either re-read some previous content or branch out to read some other highly rated authors. I can guarantee there is high quality work to be found. Now if you were paying Mark enough to only write, perhaps you might have basis for SOME of what you wrote. To the extent that you expressed concern over Mark's well being and concern over no news, I can give you that without grief... MARK - if you're reading this, I/we hope you are doing well and/or working through the challenges that have kept you from your historical norms of output! I personally look forward to your return, whenever that might be...

I'm disappointed...with today being Cinco deMayo, I'd been hoping for a Black Widow 2'fer...Alas, only one chapter?..heavy sigh☹️ Just kidding actually... "Lawyers and other unsavory characters"...isn't that pretty much a redundancy? I think many would have that feeling. Soooooooooo many ways this story can still go and Mark has gently (?) inserted new characters for the end of this story and perhaps appearances in future story arcs... Brad should apply the same the "lesson learned" about ED to AC....wouldn't trust that viper, even with Mike by appearances seemingly able to reign her in. Quite frankly I had fears of her calling Brad back only to shoot him when he thought it was all a done deal. Bravo Mark & Team!
