Black Widow (Story Discussion)

Timothy's last sentence is right on the mark, it would seem. It was Julius advising whomever in the ED chain, that Will showed up and apparently has been hanging with Will. -
And the fireworks haven't even begun to shoot off - other things perhaps... Evil grin... This chapter seemed short Mark - seems we've had this exchange before? LOL. ;-) Thanks Mark and Team.... Moremoremoremoremoremoremoremore moremoremoremoremoremoremore!!!!!!!!!

This chapter like the previous ones was a great read and I enjoyed seeing that Dave did not appear to have any issues with Reece's small dwelling. The modest but tasty dinner followed by the evening's "entertainment" felt right. Hopefully Dave will spend the night with Reece but I have to wonder, if at some point during the night, Dave will get up and wander over to the kitchen/refrigerator to get something to drink and then note the empty state of the refrigerator? We really have no indication of whether Dave knows that Reece is barely getting by. How will he react? From the little bit that we have seen I don't think that it will really be a problem for Dave and if nothing else, may make him be a little bit more aware of how they continue to see each other and decide what to do on those dates... Thanks Renee!

Black Widow (Story Discussion)

Maybe it's ABC? Alexandra "the Bitch" Carmichael? She could fit on a couple of levels… She is a widow as ED isn't per the stated technicality above; and then, what better delicious plot could there be then for ABC to frame Elizabeth Danfield for the plot that would hurt "the bastard's" (Brad) family members. How hard would it be for Alexandra to from wherever the hell she is call in a few of her other fellow "we hate Brad" club members and have another go? -

OK authors ever give us the ability to go back and edit your post to correct mistakes that we did not find? My iPad does not play well with the site which makes it difficult for me to catch and correct Siri's dictation foibles... So here are my corrected comments from chapter reviews and posted here: We knew it had to happen… Will is handling this situation with the Zach very well and seems to have made the right call. The question is just as other significant couples before them: Will they survive the two or three years, perhaps even four or five, to get back together? And what will it take for Zack to decide that Will is right and that he will not be happy playing football? What has to hit him in the head to wake him up? LOL! We knew it had to happen… JP seems to have called the situation right – all of them accepted items that were unexpectedly put in front of them to remove them, isolating Elizabeth's targets. Will's spending is impressive and I am happy to know that eventually Mark will let us be the proverbial fly on the wall to see and hear Brad's reactions! And then we have JJ and Johnny C... As many others have mentioned before me, it has been nice to see JJ develop over the storylines becoming his own person. His discipline as skater would seem to be serving him well as he applies that very same discipline to a large extent over his libido and his outlook on relationships. I certainly didn't expect this but I can see that as JJ continues to develop courtesy of Mark, he could become one of my favorite characters in the CAP series. Thank you Mark and team Arbour! -

What Is Your Favorite Story By Our Favorite Goat?
KevinD replied to DarkPrince's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
Each CJ story has bean great for differing reasons. I agree with Greame's comments though, Brandon's struggle were so wrenching at the beginning, that his amazing break and slow climb up and out of his hell was done amazingly well. My appreciation for Let the Music Pay in no way however, takes anything away from my love of Circumnavagation. Though I would love to see a follow up to Circumnavigation, I'm very hard pressed to come up with any ideas of how CJ could indulge us in our wish to see our four teens somewhere in the future. No matter what it might be, I will be so happy to see and read anything that CJ and his team will hopefully soon share with us... -
Everyone prior to my review made great points that I agree with totally – especially Impunity's comments about the pedestrian Falcon jet that Stef was flying around in, even if it was French! Little did we know that Will was telegraphing the big fancy jet experience although Stef's comments indicated that his jet had been in the works for several months. Hoping that we get to see a chapter on Friday or Saturday! Again as many have already said thank you Mark and team for another excellent chapter in this ongoing saga!

Family like that is no family at all...mostly hypocrits. Glad that he put his bitch of an aunt in her place - and did it w/grace too! Really looking forward to reading this one - thanks for sharing it Renee!

Very interesting! I see this as Elizabeth getting back at the entire Schluter clan for letting Wade get free of her clutches and her subsequent power loss dooming her to apparent irrelevancy. Since she has her hooks into so many different people, she has a wide variety of plays to make to exact her revenge! It will be very intriguing to say the least to see how Elizabeth might be sidelined once and for all – the biggest question is how much collateral damage will be spread around? Thank you Mark and team for another chapter… You all have set the standards so high that there are only one, perhaps two other authors that I can think of, that have held my interest as closely as you have done.

It was a very good scene between Cody, Jeff and Will seeing them come together for Ryan. Like will, I too was surprised at the casual way in which Ryan learned from Jeff they were half brothers and had to laugh a bit at the dick comparison to prove out the relationship… Is this the gay equivalent of informal DNA testing? I missed not seeing or hearing about Johnny C. in JJ's segment, but it's good to know that JJ is going to exact some sort of revenge on Mary Ellen. I guess we'll find out how diabolical JJ can be! After reading the scene between Julius, Zach and Will, my first thought was that Julius has made Zach his bitch. But for that to be true, Julius would have to have found out about Zach in someway and is now blackmailing him into being Julius' own personal sex slave, which I can almost see the kinky side of Zach getting into. That though seems too simple for our author Mr.mArbour. So I guess it will be a little while longer, perhaps two or three chapters before we really find out what's going on. Thank you Martin team!

I'll make this quick - loved all of it but, we better not have another "Shane Jackson" episode Mr. Arbour! I hope I got the Skater's name right! Really though, GREAT CHAPTER!

I will add my two cents as well… Starting to read Circumnavigation again and took a break to read BEN from his perspective. I too would love to see this expand to a nice story line after Trevor gets settled back down... Hopefully will see CJames back soon!

What a nice surprise to see on a Monday! It was certainly a fun chapter but as I think about it, I don't think John C will be anyone's bitch! I wonder how long JJ will hold out before giving John a wild ride? Will getting his new Ferrari toy was a bit of fun and he certainly was lucky to get the ticket for only nine over the limit. Seems odd to me that The dealership let him off of the lot before checking him out on all of the appropriate controls inside the driver cockpit. On the other hand, perhaps Will was a bit dismissive since he already has a Ferrari and assumed he knew what he was doing? Better yet, without that bit of familiarization at the dealership our author was able to have fun writing Will's little scene with the window and door. LOL! And lastly it was nice to see Will exercising some responsibility in figuring out what was going on with his bar and getting ready to go handle it… Can't wait for that scene! Thank you Mark and team!

Another great chapter as usual… I liked all of the dialogue and all of the different personal angles. I was temporarily stunned by how John C acted towards Will, but I suppose it is understandable from his point of view. I am very happy that John did go back to Will and work through that scene. It was also great that John could share his insight about how to possibly work out the issue with Zack. The one thing I am really puzzled about is why does JJ seem to have such a problem with John staying at the condo? Unless, it has to do about his unresolved feelings about losing Jeannine and the fact it was her home? Does he see it as some sort of shrine and therefore John being there as some sort of desecration? More please –!

Well we knew at some time there had to be drama, significant drama, between Zach and Will. I know that I didn't expect it to take this form. Indeed our Will is maturing as evidenced by his handling of the email that he sent back to Zach. Brad's "stupid meter" just spun to an all-time high reading. Did he really think that he would keep Will grounded in the way that he tried? I think Jeremy perhaps might've had the right idea to give Carter's name and phone number to Will although, given how badly JJ wanted to get out of England, I'm sure he would've had a stomping hissy fit if Will had dallied about. LOL!

Thank you Mark and team for posting another update to George's story it is greatly appreciated! Very interesting byplay between Daventry and George and it definitely could've gotten touchy. George is always been decisive and sure in his actions and further blessed with some incredible luck! Money just seems to fall into his path! The dispatchers are welcome news telling George how is exploits have been received by "the mob" and of course, those who are important to his career and further advancements to come. It is too bad that Caroline seems to have lost George's complete trust and the love he once had for her. It certainly doesn't appear that there is anything that will overcome his current state of feeling towards her. I can only guess that it will have to take Caroline managing to defend George and his family against some ongoing plot of the Guild that would've otherwise caused their downfall. Perhaps that is what it will take to restore Caroline into George's loving affectionats. I do fear for Jardines long term safety because once George and Daventry presumably collect the treasure, it will become clear that George once again foiled the Guild and will certainly cast doubt on what Jardines role could have been. I'm sure that Lady Elgin's role, given her family, will not likely be cast into doubt thereby focusing attention on Jardines. Another thought is how will Lord Elgin react given that he knew George was actively seeking to uncover the plot, seemingly failed, but then George subsequently succeeds? Lord Elgin is cutout of any rewards/benefit of foiling the plan. George's safety may come from the fact that Lord Elgin presumably is not powerful enough in the right circles to cause Georgie serious discomfort. Indeed, I think George's biggest threat will be Lady Elgin in concert with the Guild. To close, no one can accuse Mark of leaving us with a cliffhanger ending when George and company sits in the surface of the bay, looking up at the fortress on top of the mountain/cliff formation...

Longshanks - rather appropriate that our Will(iam) has set himself up via the trust, to battle the untrustworthy foe, even though his middle game seeks nothing more than to get his father to re-engage with his professional and wider familial responsibilities. I was sorry to see that Zach has already forgotten that he can talk to Will and get advice to help him think through his issues to arrive at a more sound solution to his near term problem - whatever it is. That boy just seems to lose his way much too easily.

I meant to comment on the last chapter when I read it and mention that as soon as I saw Stef and JP's travel itineraries, I went and looked at those locations with dates to make sure that nothing terrible had happened in their immediate area. The first section of this chapter makes me even more nervous, even if it is just JP being hyper organized and planning for all contingencies. When the Duke called for Alex I was fairly certain that Mary Ellen had run down to the Duke and told him how horrified that she was because she caught JJ and Alex in a compromising situation. Alex did come back all frazzled after meeting with his father but we don't know what that was all about - HMMNNN! I wonder… Well at least this time, it would seem, that Will is going to do some destruction but in a more less positive manner compared to his scorched earth practice a few years ago! Thank you Mark and team Arbour for another wonderful chapter!
-
Mark and his team have done such a great job in time and we've been historical events into the storyline that the first thing I did when JP mentioned the trip St. Helena, was to leave the story and Google St. Helena & Seycelles history.
-
I have to agree with Daddydavek, JP has likely made Stef very unhappy on many levels... I don't know that I have ever seen so many people wound up and ready to unload!
-
… And I thought the title was referring to Elizabeth Banfield somehow being in a lead role for the story! If not her, does the title mean that Alex will get bumped off making Mary Ellen the Black Widow? Thank you Mark for posting the story on a happy day! I had guessed that perhaps the storyline with break on JP's birthday… Thank you Mark and team Arbour!
-
And for JP's birthday on 6/20, will Mark gift him and us, the start of the 16th novel in this remarkable saga? Thank you Mark and Team Arbour!
