All I want to know is, is Mark's calendar F'd-up? We are well beyond April 1... I'm going to make a wild guess here and say that Brad decided to covertly travel to NY based on Mike's call...only time and Mark will tell...

I have to second Coastguard's comments about Buzz. He made me uneasy at first and that was before his sauna scene with JJ that creeped me out. Then he gets with Will and confuses the hell out of me with Brad... I guess what I find most odd is that he has joined Stef & Brad's company and is now working his way though the family. When will he go after Stef??? Zach - humph.. I wonder what nugget of information Mike C. Has for Brad. To hear/read the way he and Brad have apparently helped each other out makes me hope that he doesn't want any part of whatever scheme he might've stumbled upon..wouldn't it be something if Alex Carmichael & Elizabeth Danfield joined to make common cause against Brad?

By the time we get done having Mark define the rules for counting, we run the risk of rivaling the IRS tax code...

Well now, this begs a question: Offed naturally (AIDS, more or less other natural causes), "gently assisted""(Jeff), or put out their miserable existence via more violent means?

So much movement in this chapter and all of it set in interesting scenes loaded with possibilities! Thank you Mark! By the very nature of Mark's temporary slowdown, I will have to classify this as a cliff hanger since we don't know when to expect the next chapter! Though there is the possibly that an eruption from Mt. Jeremy is imminent...

Only JJ can have that outcome...it's his cross to bear in Mark's universeL LOL! Thank you Mark!

Once again another great chapter! I see this one as a transition to a new stage of the story - I just hope it doesn't mean that we are getting near to the end! I am not sure if the guilty villains were sentenced to enough time for their crimes against Cam. The rings would seem to be all that the boys wanted for each other and we can look forward to soon seeing their wedding... Juan, Maria and family are about to see rewards for their hard work, integrity and devotion... I suppose this is much too simple but somehow I'm having a feeling and I wish that Art Smith and Fr. Mason will find each other? I think a review were in the preceding chapter made a comment about another shoe soon to drop. Looking back at what I've just written about all of the feel good portions of the story, I have to wonder if we are about to see something unnerving happen? I sure hope not… Thank you Don for another installment and this continuing story!

All I can say is let us hope that Mark has not decided to make Stef senile in this stortyline by misplacing his trust in Buzz!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to Mark and the team! I too thoroughly enjoyed this chapter and as others have noted, I'm hoping for a day when George and Caroline can behave more correctly towards each other even if they never get back to their original love. George does have a valid point even though he acknowledges the double standard of some of his positions. It's hard for me to understand how Caroline can be so politically astute and yet fail so miserably at recognizing the damage that she nearly inflicted on the family them compounds it without any attempt to apologize or indicate her sorrow over her conduct. I suppose most of use might have a blind spot when thinking about our own conduct. Thank you for the double dose of stories this Christmas!

I guess Elizabeth has gotten over the fact that Brad looks so much like his father and she as we all know, had relations and feelings for him – apparently not enough to save Brad ? Thank you Mark and team for your usual excellent efforts!

Definitely strange stuff going on here with Zach. I wonder if Zach thinks he has to protect Will from something? Knowing how Will was able to handle the Julius/drug situation, Zach would have to know that Will and the power of the collective family can do an awful lot, everything but save his football career if he is outed. So why hide the real cause of the accident, or whatever the hell is going on? Perhaps he was beaten up and the car accident was staged to hide that fact? I think that Trevor has enough transgressions in his background to make any number of people want to break his kneecaps or more, so it is hard to know what it really is and play with him too. I can certainly see Elizabeth wanting to make Trevor pay for somehow being indiscreet about the various plans that Elizabeth may have embroiled him in. Would she stop short of doing in Trevor because he's family, so he "got off lightly" Private Tim beat me to the punch in looking up Charlottesville and I too am wondering how all of that fits into the plot... Thank you for the double dose of Mark's stories on this Thanksgiving Day!

Quite a chapter that opens up possibilities for so much action – you just don't know where to look and see from which direction it comes… With Calvert taking on responsibility for Valiant, this would seem to be the last chapter in this story arc… But frankly, I didn't notice whether this was indicated as I began reading this chapter... Thank you Mark and team for another outstanding effort and delivering this Thanksgiving gift to your readers!

Too short! Had to toss that in - Mark expects that from me now...LOL! So many things going on and characters from days gone by coming back out of the woodwork. Mark has really made it tough to know or even speculate on what could happen next. Has Darius turned away from the Darkside and found a new squeeze in the basketball god going to Annapolis??? And Zach… What in the world is going on there? Just when we thought he had gotten back on track with Will, we have this mystery. I am waiting on pins and needles for the next chapter to see what happens next. Thank you Mark and Team Arbour for the usual outstanding job!

Welcome back Mark – so glad that you were apparently able to recognize and work through some of the challenges you were facing! So to build on Gandolf's review I would say yes, I felt like I was watching the plate spinner on the Ed Sullivan show... Right now they're all spinning very well, but no doubt soon they will start to wobble! You have been missed – and I must say, a very nice return!

I wholeheartedly agree with Avidreader and Parker's comments… Reflecting upon my own life experiences I do have to say I don't hold out much hope for Reece's parents generation of his family. Just because I don't want to see a good story end, very much would've enjoyed seeing a couple more chapters of seeing recent Dave settle into their domestic bliss but, Renee accomplished her goal of getting the guys over their own relationship issues - in essence, saving each other! Thanks Renee!

So very happy that our guys have worked their way through this bump in the road. I have to wonder about mom though. Is she really speaking for Reece's father or is she just so domineering that he hasn't really stepped out to voice his own feelings? I might have to go back to the beginning and re-read the story to see if I've missed him... I get the sense from the way she's been portrayed so far that Reece's mom is like a steamroller - get the hell out of the way or, get flattened... Thanks Renee & team!

Wonderful scene in the store as Reese and Dave complete their shopping and set up their household… It is a shame that Dave thinks that Reece is hiding their relationship. I think Reece just doesn't want to deal with the negativity of his mother and it has nothing to do with hiding his relationship with Dave. I think that he has misinterpreted Reece's behavior. I think the important lesson here for Reece and Dave is the absolute need to do better communicating with each other, especially as they are still learning about each other. Making assumptions can be fatal for their relationship... I want to see these guys in domestic bliss so that they can heal each other's emotional wounds...

So will JJ continue on deep into the fashion world and leave skating in the past? I think it'll be a lot of fun to see where this goes... The Zac Posen angle is interesting especially given JJ's inclination to not hop in and out of beds. Does Zac truly have an interest in JJ or is he mercenary enough to realize that Bellona appreciates his fashion insight? I guess only time in a couple of chapters will tell? I wonder how long it will take for Marc to come down from his bitchy platform and try to salvage at least a friendship with Brad (and family) since they took him underwing while he was at his absolute lowest… Buzz and Brad - what an interesting combination to consider, but how could a potentially intense personal relationship possibly impact the new business relationship that has just been formed?

Another great chapter in this wonderful story, I really enjoyed all of the interaction between family and friends over there at Thanksgiving vacation. It would seem that Cam is going to be blessed with good fortune and not have to testify at the trial and given his reaction to the prosecutor's opening statement, it something to be very thankful for. Since there is often a bit of time between chapter releases, I wanted to take this opportunity to wish Don and his editing team a very a nice Thanksgiving and a happy Holiday season as we approach the new year!

Once again, fate and fortuitous weather has saved our George! It would seem though that based upon the observation of Valiant's stern that she was very close to being disabled – a very harrowing experience to be sure! Thank you Mark for another great sea battle!

Will, the master schemer, has had the terrible misfortune of having part of his plans backfire... Great conversation in the plane between all parties involved with most of them getting in there barbs in direct or humorous ways. I absolutely loved the exchange between Will & JJ! This chapter pretty much had nearly all of the elements that we have come to expect and love from Mark and his team!

A most excellent chapter as usual! And in the finest tradition of a few authors here on GA, we have a cliffhanger ending in that we know that the next chapter will be full of action and deadly peril! Bravo Mark & Team Arbour!

The opening chapter of the story was such a downer after the prologue that I almost didn't read the entire chapter. That was my knee-jerk reaction... I am very happy to say that I got through my reaction and carefully read through the chapter. From the opening prologue and Morgan's reflections since his death, and then combined with the interesting info/characters involved with Elijah's Way, I think that I've seen the potential for quite a bit of enlightenment in the story – I'm looking forward to continuing the read… Thank you for sharing it with us!
