Well when you put it that way of course it sounds bad But the airport is only 10-15 minutes from me, and then it's a 3 hour flight, but I only lose an hour because of the time difference, I usually get there about an hour and a half early and spend half an hour waiting for luggage. So 3+1.5+.5 = 5 minus 2 (Time difference ) = 3 So HAH! I win But still, I'd rather be on a plane for 3 hours than in a car for 8 unless I'm driving. I get restless too easily when I'm a passenger on a roadtrip.

You guys can make the 8 hour drive and I'll meet you in SF with refreshments saving 4 dollars on airfare is not worth the 8 hour drive no matter who it's with, sorry I think we need to start a list of people instead of just taking a poll because once you vote you can't change your mind (unless you're special and can alter the votes like me ) So, would everyone be so kind as to state in red their choice: Yes, I'm coming; I'm planning on it but not 100% sure; I'm thinking about it, but probably can't make it. I agree! While Dallas may be very gay-friendly according to news articles, there's not much here in the form of gay night-life. There's one area in downtown that's fun, but other than that I'd say Austin would be a more likely candidate. Plus, that's only a 4 hour drive from Dallas (unless you drive like me and could probably make it in 3 and a half ).

If anyone else is up for this, I can probably make it. I found a roundtrip flight for $260. The only issue for me would be finding a place to stay as you have to be 21 for most places to check-in to a hotel. Though I wonder if I could convince Jeff to go with and that would solve the problem.

To be totally honest with you, I figured if something like this ever did happen, it would more likely than not be held somewhere in New York. Your ideas are awesome... keep them coming!

I'm shocked to see someone finally post about this after I've been begging you guys to bug Myr about it for a while now. I keep tellin you to PM and email him and remind him we should have a convention (preferably in Dallas ) for everyone! Actually now might be a bad time to bug him so I wouldn't suggest doing that It is interesting to see what ideas you guys come up with here though.
