    Just came out, California has upheld Prop 8 banning Gay Marriage. The 18000 marriages preformed before te ban are still legal however. I guess there is some goodnews. NightOwl88

    I'm in two minds about this myself. My pessimistic side thinks they'll uphold the prop while my optimist side hopes it'll be abolished. I mean they did legalize gay marriage once before so why wouldn't they do it again? But whatever happens, win or loose, prepare for a back lash from on faction or another.     My mother got me into Startrek as kid. I grew up watching the old Movies with Kirk, Spock, and the rest of the gang as well as following TNG,(Data was and still is my fav TNG charecter). I'm also a fan of the movies based of TNG and the Voyager series. I think it'll be interesting to sort of go back and see how it all began, despite the objections of some of my *Trekie* friends I'll be first in line to see it lol. Best Wishes. NightOwl88
