That was GGGGGGRRRR88888 CJ! I actually started writing a Katrina story for this anthology but... I think it is too soon yet. Katrina wasn't just a rainy summer day. It was a couple of rainy, terror filled stormy days in the dark and oppressive heat followed by weeks without power and the smell of dead things and rotting stuff from freezers. You can still see where the trees are torn up or were injured and finally dying. Here's the REAL good part: we were 90 miles north of the coast and our area was still got its ass kicked and didn't get back to normal for six weeks. I would have liked to have had a Drake or a Cody to hole up with.

He sponsered a bill that would have made what he was doing a felony, punishable with 1-5 years jail time and regester as a sex offender. I mean WTF? I see it here, when it's your party line, don't go after for the same thing as the other side. Actually- I have more in common with republicans than democrats ideologically. Specifically: fiscal conservatism, strong nation, low taxes, free enterprise. My problem with republicans is that they left it there, all would be well but they don't. They are inextricably linked to a conservative social agenda and I can't support them without taking careful aim and shooting myself in the foot. I would be more than happy to roast a democrat in his own juices if he did anything nearly this hypocritical.

The Chinese have never put a huge premium on the value of life. Perhaps that is because they've got umpteen billion people. I suspect that this case has a serious political angle because China wants her trading partners to trust her products despite the fact that those products are produced by slaves. China is the 500 pound gorilla in the room. Everyone knows and fears her but few have the courage to call a communist totalitarian dictatorship a communist totalitarian dictatorship that has killed more people than cancer. In case you haven't heard the Pentagon had a plan back in the 1990s to create a bomb with chemicals that made people "gay and disinterested" in fighting. Of course this is probably one of the most idiotic plans in history. Anyone who has ever been set upon by an angry lesbian or argued with a gay man knows that gays are never disinterested in fighting. Such a bomb would likely backfire badly as it would create legions of people who are gay & bitchy. I pity the poor marines coming ashore to face that.

I'm not convinced that its a good idea to futher catagorize gay people. There are already too many divisions: tops, bottoms, daddies, twinks, leather pigs... Maybe we should focus more on what makes us similar than what makes us different.

Clooney & O'Donnell and Schwarzenegger were probably the worst possible picks for those particular roles that could have been found even if you tried. I tremble at the memory of seeing one of my favorite superheros raped to make a cheaper than average movie of the week. My rating: it made me cry and not in a good way (I was what? 30?) I've always been a fan of the Punisher but the big screen hasn't been kind to Frank Castle. All in all, Punisher(2005) could have been a whole lot worse. It is MUCH better than the two previous pseudo-attempts at making a Punisher movie. That being said, it could have been a whole lot better. John Travolta was awful as Howard Saint portraying a sophisticated sociopathic mob king-pin as a middle-aged Vinny Barberino. My rating: 2 stars and a sigh. It had potential. :sniper:

Advice is what it is: cheap, easy and probably OK given Camy, Conner and Krista are all good blokes (and bloke-ettes). As you get older and into college, you'll come across a method of instruction called the Socratic Method. This is a method of arriving at the truth by asking a few pointed questions. There is a fem vs butch divide and it cuts both ways. I was new in a small southern university town and didn't know anybody. I heard about a gay bar and decided to check it out. No one there knew me and I didn't look like usual clientel. I was refused admission and told by the bouncer to come back when I knew somebody. A big butch jock like yourself makes some of these girls nervous. Bluntness Alert: if you don't want to hear something frank, leave the spoiler alone. You have been warned. Please note that the media only portrays fem guys. Butch roles are few and far between. That's because fems are non-threatening and are easy fodder for stereotypical humor.
