    Epilogue

Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it all the way to the end. I think our boys are going to be okay now Thank you so much for all your comments. It's been an absolute delight reading and responding.

    Chapter 23

Isaac can't move on until he goes back. There's not much he can't overcome
  3. Nephylim

    Chapter 22

Reading is supposed to be an escape I often use reading to procrastinate I'm so glad you're still enjoying the story
  4. Nephylim

    Chapter 21

Thank you There are still some surprises to come so I hope you're still speaking to me at the end

    Chapter 20

I suffer from foot in mouth syndrome, so who am I to judge That's given me food for thought. We're going to be utterly confusing anyone who reads these comments because I've taken out the expletives in the chapter you mentioned. One of these days I'm going to have to overhaul this story and I'll definitely keep what you've said in mind. Unfortunately, I'm not a grandmother. I have a 27 year old daughter but she's not caving to pressure so far

    Chapter 19

Sometimes tsunamis aren't such a bad thing. They level the land to rebuild, clear away all the of the writing in the sand and leaving a blank page to write new. Of course there/s usually a lot of debris to clear up first but the boys are strong.

    Chapter 18

Connor came from nowhere. I don't plan my stories. They come as they come and Connor suddenly popped up and I ran with him. I hadn't expected to write an Irish character and I heartached over how 'Irish' to make the dialogue I dind't want people to have to translate. Then when I found out what a bad boy he was ~I thought he wasn't good enough for my Isaac. I think he comes through in the end though I quite fell for him myself.

    Chapter 16

Don't drown. I wouldn't want to be responsible for that

    Chapter 15

    You're welcome

    Chapter 13

I thought about that and decided that 1. He's rejecting the community and everything they stood for and 2. he's spent time in prison among people who were using this kind of language all the time. I think he might be using it almost as a reaction against his upbringing. He's struggling with the 'real world' outside the commuity. He can't understand the rules. I think his use of fuck would be a kick back. It's the only one he can do right now. I hear what you say about it jarring though and I don't want that so I'll take it out.

    Chapter 12

No point writing just for the sake of it

    Chapter 11

I don't think Isaac came to terms with being gay. Being brought up in such a controlling and 'moral' community he hasn't really had any sexual experiences or thought about them. He's been isolating himself for years. He doesn't have any resistance to it as such. He's been just enough of a rebel all his life to be able to accept this without being overly concerned about how others take it. The worse thing that could have happened to him - being expelled from the community and being sent to prison for something he didn't do - has already happened so realizing and accepting he's gay isn't that hard, although he still has a way to go for full acceptance and integration

    Chapter 10

I'm glad you made it through I'm very honoured that not only are you taking time to write but saying such nice things. All of us writers are greedy for reviews. You've no idea how much it brightened my gloomy, rainy day, to read your reviews
  15. Nephylim

    Chapter 9

The suffering will end, one way or another Very soon.
  16. Nephylim

    Chapter 8

    Thank you. I'm blushing now
  17. Nephylim

    Chapter 7

I'm so excited that you're excited to read my words. I like to torture my characters but I rarely kill them. Note - rarely

    Chapter 5

Hmm... Romance? With Ruth? Maybe The focus of that chapter, for me, was Jayden And don't forget Isaac isn't really from the 'real' world, he's been brought up in a bubble almost

    Chapter 4

Don't forget to breathe Rick is a real treasure and I don't know what would have happened to Isaac if he hadn't met him. If he'd been given one of those psychiatrists whose arses are stuck to their seats he would have been totally screwed

    Chapter 3

That's what it's all about. What's the point in writing if you don't make a good read. The reader, after all, is the most important person in an author's life (writing life at least )
  21. Nephylim

    Chapter 2

Thank you. That was an amazing complement. I'm sorry that Isaac's suffering resonates with something you've experienced yourself but very glad you're still enjoying the story regradless

    Chapter 1

Since I first posted this story, GA had a complete overhaul. All the reviews were lost I'm really happy you've given Isaac and me some fresh support and I've even happier that you like my story
  23. Tell me about it! I certainly wouldn't want to take on the job
  24. I think Ari will find a way of letting the boys know how he did. And as for the next chapter. It may be the last...unless it can't quite bring the story to an...erm...climax
  25. “This is crazy,” Pasha said. “It’s unreal. I feel stoned stupid. Are you sure you didn’t put acid in our drinks?” Ari laughed. “No, no acid, just…magic, maybe? I’ll leave you to look around.” “What do you mean ‘look around’? There’s nothing here.” “Really? Try walking in a little further.” Uzzy moved forward but Gabri’el pulled him back. “Wait here.” Gabri’el strode to the centre of the room, then turned slowly. His eyes were wide and the glittering rainbow energy was swirling in them. “Wha
