  1. Thank you It's hard to get everything in 1000 words. When the flash is finishes I think I'll go through it again and flesh it out.
  2. The way I've been taught to review, especially if you don't like something is to find something positive, even if it's only 'thank you for posting such an interesting piece' Then go on to say explain what you didn't like - 'unfortunately, I wasn't able to get into it because I couldn't quite make out what they were doing to the sheep and why. The dialogue was pretty wooden, especially from the sheep, and I thought you could have given more explanation as to what the guy with blue hair was doing in a hole half way up the mountain'. Then end with a positive - 'The sheep made me think of someone I used to know at school and I haven't had such a good laugh in ages. Thanks for making my day.'
  3. Welcome back Missed you. Well, we had angels so we could hardly avoid having some mention of god and, if you remember he did introduce himself some time ago, although he was wearing rather more clothing back then.
  4. “Okay,” Gabri’el said. “Let’s assume for a moment you are what you say you are. What does that have to do with us?” “Well.” Ari sat down and picked up his drink again. “It started with the dinosaurs and went downhill from there. I accidentally caused an ice age and changed the whole direction of evolution, not to mention the landscape and climate of Earth.” He sighed. “Climate is hard.” “I’ll take your word for that,” Pasha said, dryly. “Get to the point.” Ari glared at him. “All in good time
  5. I can't overestimate what GA has done for me. I've been writing all my life but no one had ever read any of it until I came here. Since my first timid post, through the time I was terrified to put a story 'out there' to now, when I have published writing and somehow seem to have developed some kind of reputation ~(bad of course ) I've got so much out of the community and all the wonderful people on it. I just wish I had enough time to hang around as much as I used to. You're always on my mind though and I'm still here for everyone as much as I always was. (when I say here I mean here not there because I'm only there sometimes and I'm here all the time )

    Chapter 11

Alex definitely is going to need a lot of support and Kei's parents aren't finished yet. As if his parents aren't enough to cope with, the nurse is right, and Kei has a lot of problems to overcome. Alex is there for him but it isn't always easy. You can try to prepare yourself for something, even think you have prepared yourself but when you're faced with it, it's a whole different ball game.
  7. I don't think it counts as any of them as Pasha really wanted it. The angel was only reacting to what Pasha was feeling and desperately wanting. It's not his desire it's his fear that's lacking. I mean come on - and angel!

    Chapter 11

Alex didn’t sleep much better that night. Although Kei didn’t wake, Alex was waiting for it, worrying that Kei would be scared if he did and Alex wasn’t there. The fact that Kei said he was frightened, haunted him. What was it like to lie there and not be able to move or communicate? Was Kei awake inside? Was he trapped, scared, frustrated? Did he know where he was, what was happening to him? Wriggling around, trying to find a comfortable place in the chair he tortured himself with what if’s, h
  10. i SO want to see Lunatics Who Think They Are Psychic and Freak Themselves Out in Old Houses. I think they might have to shorten the title though I really enjoyed this chapter. It was easy reading after all the emotional angst. The emails were darling. I love the way they ended 'yours' It's usually quite formal but in this situation it was perfect. It would be great if Mark's music really takes off and he gets to be even more famous than Ben. I wonder if there would be jealousy if that happened. Although it would make it even harder for them to get together. Loved the little peep into what Ben's up to and the fact that it's not all exciting and fun. It's actually really hard work. I'm enjoying the story very much. Thank you for posting far more regularly than I do.

Don't worry, they will be answered. I think I still have surprises up my sleeve, and so does Ari

  17. “I’ve been so frightened for you.” Uzzy rested his cheek on Gabri’el’s chest and kissed Pasha’s hair. “Ari swore you would be safe but that’s not how it seemed.” “Who’s Ari?” “I am.” All three turned to the boy. He was no longer adolescent, although still young. The top hat had vanished and he was dressed in tight leather pants and poet’s shirt. Lounging on the chair, with one leg hooked over the arm and his shining white hair tumbling over his shoulders, he looked more like an angel than an
  18. I think this chapter and part of the one before, throws a harsh spotlight on their age difference, and maybe even social status. Yes, Mark showed a great deal of emotional immaturity in 'drowning his sorrows' but he is still young and he comes from the circles where this is done. Where I live in the Welsh Valleys it would be pretty much expected for someone of Mark's age to react that way, although it would have been way more likely he got shitfaced on beer than took E. Ben knows Mark suffers from depression and that means that emotional instability is on the cards all the way along the line. People fighting depression don't suddenly 'get better' when they fall in love and, no matter how much Ben wants to protect Mark, he can't be there all the time, especially when he has to spend so much time away. Mark is definitely going to get depressed when Ben's away, anyone would and for someone with depression separation is harder I think Ben is right to worry about Mark being unable to care for his own heart and he'd be better facing that voice than ignoring it, These are things that need to be dealt with at the start or they inevitably come back to bite you in the ass. One of my main concerns for these two is that Mark will become emotionally dependent on Ben and not do well when Ben isn't there. If the media get their teeth into that they're both in a heap of trouble. i love the way this story is unfolding. It's a credit to you that I'm getting invested in the relationship and future of two people who were born inside your mind. I won't say two people who don't exist, or who only exist inside your mind because I don't think that's true. Our creations begin in our imaginations, but once we set them free they take on a life of their own and become, in one sense, real, at least real to the people who read and invest in them.

    Chapter 10

i'm not cruel and sadistic, just aware that in life the harsh realities are that sometimes the things you want don't always turn out to be quite what you want them to be. All Alex wants it for Kai to be awake and getting better. When the harsh realities of his recovery hit home, both of them struggle to cope.

    Chapter 10

The atmosphere between Bonnie and Alex was never easy. Today it was frosty and tense. There were times when Alex felt she was almost disappointed that Kei was getting better. He was a lot easier to handle unconscious, at least from her point of view. The relationship between mother and son had never been a close one and it had deteriorated sharply in the last year. Alex found himself resenting her presence. This was a special time, a personal time, at least it should be, and she was spoiling it
  21. very concisely put and absolutely right. Next time we'll find out who the kid is and what he wants with our three boys although, of course, they already know.
  22. Tee hee. The whole thing was about bringing the three of them together...the whole thing. We already have many of the answers. Pasha and Gabri'el know exactly what's been going on, they just don't know they do.
  23. Thank you The boy said that the whole thing was to force Pasha and Gabri'el together - the whole thing, and Uzzy isn't dead, or tortured or, apparently, a prisoner. Hmmmm

  25. Because he said he's God doesn't mean he is. On the other hand...he might be.I finally have a good idea where this is going to go but I have no idea how it ends yet
