Thank you. I'm so glad you enjoyed the story so far. There's a long way to go... for the story and for Kei. The focus of the story really isn't what's happening right now. The clue is in the title There are definitely dark times ahead, but there are light times too. I promise.

Think of all the bad things you've ever heard about lawyers and add in homophobia. Everything with them has a price. They will be happy to take care of Kei in every way they can. thank you so much. It's so awesome that someone who has had experiences of something similar validate what I've written. I wrote the story as a NaNoWriMo so I didn't have opportunity to do too much research. However, I have done some research on comas for another story so I hope I haven't gone too far astray. people are making a lot of assumptions. At least one assumption is totally wrong CW Prince has come close to a truth without being right about it I had to laugh at your comment on 'where angels fear to tread'. it was the only prompt from this week's flash, I could fit into the story. -
At this point I'm living in hope that I can untangle it. I haven't seen the end of the story yet.

oooh what a comprehensive, imaginative and interesting review. You've given me some ideas there. Nothing is as it seems. The only thing you can be sure of is that there are surprises just around the corner. The box, of course, especially the glass coffin, is synonymous with mystery and magic. the question is, what will pasha find inside it? Is it Snow White or one of the dwarves, or are they all the same thing? As for the slave boy - we will definitely be seeing more of him. -
The boy led Pasha and Gabriel to a patch of wall that looked like every other. He pressed his hand against the stone and a green flash illuminated his fingers. A section of the wall swung open. The boy looked up at them. “Nothing is as it seems,” he said and hurried into the corridor beyond. Pasha and Gabriel followed. The door clicked shut behind them and they were plunged into darkness. there's no reason why sue can't go on to help them. the problem is that very few of them come forward and admit what happened to them. It took a lot to get Daniel to that point. Daniel is very special to me because I deliberately wrote him to be the me i wish i could be. I'm sorry to have disturbed your sleep but very glad you enjoyed the story

thank you. i'm glad you enjoyed it. i'm not sure where this one came from. i think it was from something in my own life...not the same degree at all. It got me thinking about how people don't 'listen'. i guess it came from the same root as Why Didn't he Say Something.

I think Cyan is going to be absolutely furious. I think he'll come round quickly though, when he gets to know Gabriel and, especially when he realizes all his scars have gone. only the ones on the outside of course but gabriel has years of working on the rest.
