My reflection on spending the holidays with myself as company.

I am dealing with chronic depression and panic attacks. This is my journey to try to make sense of it all.

Where Charles Wentworth is now, I do not know. I thought he was dead. It took decades to get over the heartbreak of his disappearance. And yet now that he has sent me a message, I feel not relief but horror… because, if my interpretation is true, then we are all in danger. The message in the sky is clear. Humanity may be about to go extinct.

One lifetime of experience, and suddenly... magic. Richard has come to Ireland to reflect on years gone by, not to become mixed up in the affairs of the fairy folk. The handsome stranger he meets will not be denied, however. He makes Richard young again - for a price.

Reading the HP books as I have done for many times now, I often wondered how two of my favorite characters met for the first time. This story -humbly- attempts to answer this question.

Saying goodbye can be hard. Remembering the good times can help, sometimes. Especially in the icy quiet of December. Andy is struggling to cope with the fact that his husband Michael has passed away. But Michael's last message, written in a letter, will surprise him.

Ryan is only eighteen, but he knows what homelessness is like. When the offer came for a job out in the Oregon wilderness, no questions asked, he jumped at the chance. Three grand for two weeks' work sounded too good to be true. And maybe it is. His new boss is... strange. And Ryan has heard rumors that there were others before him, all of them young, hired to come and work at the manor. The funny thing is, none of them were ever seen again…
