While digging through some boxes of Christmas stuff, I found this old poem that I wrote for my grandmother many years ago.

A night out to reflect on one's failure can have unforeseen consequences.

Alyea is a royal princess being forced into a marriage she doesn't want. Rather than follow the rules she strikes out on her own. Exactly what that means for her is a whole new life she never knew, and just possibly a chance at love.

A boy. A mother. A grandfather. And a tree of secrets.

We grow old... We wander and we glance. Here is one moment in time. Remember what is lost and what is found.

Not all decisions made come out smelling like roses, or chocolate chip cookies, or a freshly sexed bedroom, or a recently mowed lawn, or laundry detergent, or your favorite cologne/perfume.

Sheriff Taylor is notified that an object has been seen streaking across the sky. In seeking answers, he discovers it was a meteorite, but then people start getting ill. Are these two events related and what are they going to do to stop the spread of the illness?
