A midsummer festival in the middle of winter, a warm tropical Australian night, and a forced acquaintance with a stranger.

Aiden is young, rich, and beautiful. Banking on his fellow gays' love for sex and drugs, he's become a self-made millionaire before most guys his age have finished college. But the glamor of the cars, boys, and clubs isn't there anymore, and he no longer feels the thrills he used to. When Luca steps in to his life and reminds him what passion feels like, he considers giving it all up to feel that fire again...even if he has to take on the city's biggest crime family to do it.

"Seventeen years! Seventeen long, confused, and all together messed up years. That would be the best way that I could describe the journey that has been my life up until my seventeenth birthday." For Brett Moore, turning 17 isn't a happy time. He's trying to come to terms with the fact he'd much rather be with his girlfriend's twin brother. Accepting himself, and coming out seem a long way off, until of course its done for him.

“SHIT! How am I going to get out of this? How in hell did this happen? Oh God he’s getting nearer!” panicked thoughts flew through Jason Barnette’s mind as he ran for what he felt was his life. His feet pounding the concrete paving beneath him, he felt no tiredness, no pain, void of all feeling except the white-hot sickness that creeps through your body causing your veins to turn icy in fear. All he knew at that moment was that turning down the dead end alley had been a mistake.

Just some personal musings and ramblings. I'm really not a poet, but I do enjoy writing poetry at times. Enjoy!

Summer flings are always fun. You meet a new person, you just barely get to know them, you have a good time and it’s over in a couple weeks. When you go home back to your real life, the memories are still fresh in your mind and they’re good memories—so good, in fact, that you convince yourself that you were in love.

But you weren’t. Because with real love, it’s not the happy memories that make you smile that let you know that you were in love - it’s the pain.

In the beginning there was darkness. That’s when He showed up. When I was bloody and broken and left for Hades, He pushed me headlong into an existence I have grown to despise with my entire being but have no hopes of ever escaping. He made me an abomination, and now I am hunted relentlessly so that others may possess my mind, my body, my soul, my gift, and unknowingly my curse.
