Tiger's Book of poetry - 5. Poem 5: Thoughts in Time and Rhyme

I walk the desolate path

Knowing I may only find wrath

Wisdom and felicity I seek

But now I am weak

Happiness and security I beseech

But I am not a leech

You think I am sentimental

But my mind is temperamental

Their will may be to desecrate

But me they will not violate

They may think I am easy

Though I am far from sleazy

Some souls are tempestuous

I see them as nothing but contemptuous

The words in my head are blaring

Telling me to find one who is caring
