I am a prisoner of my own tumultuous mind

I am a thinker and a philosopher in constant contemplation

I am a free spirit in desperate need of release from captivity

I am a constantly shifting wave of tension and folly

I am a dreamer who wants the world in the palm of his hand

I am a loner longing to find someone to share a life with

I am a pessimist who often feels unworthy of what he desires

I am a caring soul whose intentions are often misunderstood

I am a weary traveler in need of a place to call home

I am a creature of the night who thrives in the darkness

I will seek an escape from the nightmares that haunt me

I will think of ways to make the world better and make it reality

I will allow my free spirit to take flight and be an ever-shining light

I will escape the turbulent waters and answer destiny’s call

I will make my mark on the world and be the man I know I can be

I will find the one who makes me feel complete and live in security

I will replace my pessimistic nature with the philosophy of hope

I will make them see that my intentions are noble

I will find a destination that I can finally call home and live in peace

I will embrace night and day as the ever-constant staples of life
