2015 - Winter - Blackout Entry

Lights On! - 1. Lights On!

Lights On!

Black out – Lights on!

Seeing what is veiled

By the dark.

Black out – Spot on!

Aiming at what’s dimmed

By the dark.

Black out – Wake up!

Hearing what is hushed

By the dark.

Black out – Stand up!

Unmasking what’s cloaked

By the light.

Thank you, AC! :)

Interesting ... power outages/blackouts affect us in interesting ways ... so much is missing, light sometimes, tv, your devices, the internet. ...oh what to do? But there is so much to see and discuss. You learn your brain doesn't need all the input because you can create! Nice poem, there is much to read ...and think about!

I'm glad my poem inspired you! Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Tim. :)
