After the first book, Noel and Diarmad are together. Everything should be perfect, but when does the course of love ever run smooth?

Almost immediately there are cracks in what should be happily ever after. What is bringing on the king's distrust in everyone? Is there something wrong?

Noel's powers continue to grow. Yet he is still a target and people want him dead. Add in a young suitor that Noel never expected and the problems only grow.

Will Diarmad and Noel figure it all out? Is this their happily ever after, or the beginning of the end? Only one way to find out, read!
