A Man in a Room, and other poems - 13. I sigh and wonder why

AC all three are amazing.   31 and 33 are wonderful but its 32 that really touched me.  It spoke to me saying that we are all here and all different but equal.  I loved it.

Thanks, Tim. That little two line poem is one I remember writing all those years ago. Came to me in a sleepless moment in bed. I used to keep pad and pen bedside. 

All three wonderful AC... 32 is a great reminder.  I couldn't help but smile in agreement at the mindless, oblivious snow. As always your poems are so stirring... 

Number 32 is beautiful in its simplicity. But I think number 33 speaks to me most in this set. The snow metaphor is compelling to me, as is the notion of its blindness. It echoes.

Thank you, Parker. Actually, having now typed most of the poems from his year, I still think No. 33 is one of the strongest. More than a few of these from this period in my life touch upon the idolization of suicide. Thanks for your support, as always.

I most connected to 32. I've felt under attack from many different directions in my life. I'm constantly affirming that I'm who I'm supposed to be. That I'm ok being different.

Thanks, JP. When I wrote that I was struggling with a few life choices. To be honest they were, suicide, living a loveless closeted existence, or finally accepting the obvious and moving on with things. From where this poem was written time wise, I was only months away from making the third discussion, but it still wasn't easy. 

I'm very much looking forward to getting to the point of posting my initial out poems. Thanks for reading and sharing your personal connections. Those types of sharings always mean the most to me.
