After the first book, Noel and Diarmad are together. Everything should be perfect, but when does the course of love ever run smooth?

Almost immediately there are cracks in what should be happily ever after. What is bringing on the king's distrust in everyone? Is there something wrong?

Noel's powers continue to grow. Yet he is still a target and people want him dead. Add in a young suitor that Noel never expected and the problems only grow.

Will Diarmad and Noel figure it all out? Is this their happily ever after, or the beginning of the end? Only one way to find out, read!

*in a deep announcer's voice*

You've read The Holly and the Ivy. You've lived the highs and lows; the suspense and drama of the first installment of The King's Mate series. Now, join Noël and Diarmad as they face more political and physical dangers. Could someone be orchestrating Diarmad's demise in the shadows? Dive into Caesura and find out!
