Where there is a will 3. Fire Prompts

   (3 reviews)
Genres: Romance,
Sub-genres: General Romance

Hugh is keeping secrets from his family and friends, but soon he’ll have to come clean to pursue the future he wants. He’d prefer to do it without losing his temper, but sometimes it’s hard not to snap

This story is related to my two other firefighter short stories, but it’s not necessary to read them before or after.

We follow a young man as he takes steps towards the life he wants to lead. Some bigotry seems to exist in all families, but Hugh is able to work though it and finally return to his hometown when the time is right.

Was he or wasn't he expecting to meet someone as wonderful as Dean...? Read and find out :)

Response from the author:

Thanks, buddy   I love that you saw the small scenes from Hugh's life as variation on the same aspect of how to deal with assumptions, expectations or prejudices of people around him. It was important to me that not all of them were directly related to him being gay.
