@Paladin You've created a masterpiece. The descriptive powers contained in every chapter have never once failed you. The way you've woven these amazing people together is so beautiful and colorful, that it's epic, awe-inspiring and leaves everyone wanting more.

Thank you for bringing Chris, Andre, Beau, Michael, Jamie, Ollie, and the rest of the awesome4some to life and for making them such talented and loving guys.

You Rock.

The sophomore story from the pen of a talented and humorous author in @Paladin

The characters in this story are very well written and for the most part are thoroughly likeable. There are a few exceptions, however, their contributions to the lives of the main characters are, with one exception, relatively minor.

The growth of the characters and their relationships was realistically presented. There are some very serious issues discussed and messages delivered, but not once did it descend into melodrama or "preaching", an easy trap to fall into.

A true 5 star experience.

Response from the author:

Thank you @Summerabbacat for reviewing Andre and Chris and your endorsement of a 5 star rating. I appreciate your supportive comments about the story and my writing. Thank you.

We follow Andre and Chris as they navigate many hurdles in there lives together.

We deal many issues throughout the story, child abuse, health, child care and fostering are just a few of the topics that are dealt with.

But the main thing we see is, love and friendship between family and friends.

A truly exceptional story, that I highly recommend.

Response from the author:

Thank you @chris191070 for the rating you've given the story and your comments. I wanted the story to deal with some serious and disturbing issues but remain positive. Thank you for mentioning that aspect.

“...you and Uncle Andre have shown me that it’s possible to be gay and have good lives, that you can be qualified and have good jobs, that you can be in a loving relationship, you can be good parents, and you can be open about being gay and the world doesn’t have to come crashing down around you...  Both of you are our role models. You have shown us that we don’t have to be worried about being gay, we just have to be good people...”

This beautiful extract from the last chapter of this amazing story summarizes the plot and gives the moral to remember!

Following the lives of Andre and Chris, we see their emotional growth, tightening of their relationship, the influence they make on their family, friends and surrounding. Good people, indeed.

Story starts as a light-spirited romantic tale about relationship between two extraordinary guys we have already met in prequel 'Beau'. Playfully 'dancing' at the edge, but never crossing the line of monogamy, @Paladin gives his homage to gay lifestyle writing about erotic skinny dipping, mutual showers or gentle cuddling between friends, partners and lovers.

As story progress, demons from the past occurs, threatening the happiness of the main protagonists. Overcoming every obstacle, they become the central gathering point of family and friends. They become the role models for young boys, someone always ready to listen, help and support.

Dealing with child abuse, health issues, children care and fostering, cybercriminal, new technologies...but also love, friendship, caring and supporting - Andre and Chris are traveling this amazing journey through 30 chapters, making readers smile, cry and enjoy with them.

I suggest you read a prequel 'Beau', charming story which introduce us to main characters and setup a stage for 'Andre and Chris'.

Response from the author:

Thank you @Cane23 for this wonderful and detailed review as well as the accompanying ratings. Thank you for highlighting that the story remains positive while dealing with important and serious issues. I’m delighted that you enjoyed the ride with Andre and Chris (and Ollie).

Many characters return (read BEAU if you haven’t already) in this emotional full length novel which follows Andre and Chris as they explore life, love, relationships, challenges, and commitment together.

@Paladin tells a compelling story which keeps the reader engaged.  Much could be said about the characters and plot of this slice of life, first-person narrative, but it would be better to simply select “Chapter 1” and explore this story yourself.

I recommend grabbing a sweet snack (maybe some Tim Tams or some Slices) and a glass of something cool (a nice sparkling red or a lemon lime with bitters perhaps).  A box of tissues is also advisable, but optional.  You could just let the emotion flow freely as you devour this hope-filled tale.
