A Letter Surprises

   (6 reviews)
Genres: General Fiction,
Sub-genres: Prompt, Family Drama

A man finds a finds a letter written to his father. What the letter reveals causes him to rethink what he believes about his father.

This short story is written as a result of Prompt #277. The prompt was posted months ago and I started writing soon after but completing the story has been interrupted by a variety of events and competing priorities.

I would like to thank @Aditus for suggesting the theme for the prompt.

A superbly written, heart-warming story of a surprise discovery which challenges one man's attitudes and beliefs and leads to his redemption.

Read it and weep, tears of sorrow and tears of joy in equal parts.

A wonderful short @Paladin, showcasing your literary talent at its finest.
