Every now and then , you come across a story that leaves a mark on you. Watchers is that story for me. It is a powerful captivating story of Alec and Hugo from different social classes and time who are brought together through time travel.The plot moves at  a pace that leaves you room to relate with these characters.This is not just about time travel though,it is a love story of Alec and Hugo . The characters are well developed and engaging. The supporting characters are superb and enhance the depth of the story .The world building especially of the different time streams is fully fleshed.

This story is a highly recommended read for anyone who yearns a well balanced sci-fi  and action riddled love story!

The Watchers is unlike anything else I have read. It is not quite a science fiction nor is it a historical drama , yet it has elements of both. 

Hugo and Alec are two completely different men who share the limelight as protagonists.  Their adventures are complex and thought-provoking, romantic and powerful. 

It is an absolute MUST READ!

This is one of those stories that ends up being the surprise you didn’t know you needed.

This is a remarkable adventure through time that Hugo didn’t ask for, he meets Alec almost accidentally and pulls him into the adventure unwittingly and instead of each trying to return home, they begin to find home within each other.

The plot feels fresh as it’s a take on an old sci-fi trope with its well thought out methods and the author has gone out of his way to tell it in a unique way that has you burning through Chapters like a fire starving for oxygen.

This is a great read, and worth rereading time and again, as Hugo and Stoker make their mark on time itself.

We see them traveling through time facing unusual challenges, beings and some who want to use them.
