Not all friendships last forever, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they are truly beyond salvation, does it?
When JJ is outed at school, he thinks his world has fallen apart, but thanks to the support of his friends, Merry and Pete, he survives the ridicule and harassment.
Even his former best friend, Dallas, appears distant, so what will happen when the two of them are thrust together on a school camp, and then thrown into a dangerous situation? Will they be able to work past their differences? Or is their relationship truly beyond salvation?
Only time will tell!!!

What a journey through being outed, a class trip which results in a near-death experience which brings former best friends back together as more than just friends, to a change in their school acceptance atmosphere.  A solid read for teens who may be experiencing their own growing pains and for adults to see how adults could be supportive and unconditional in their love of their children.

Response from the author:

@pvtguy thank you so much!

Another triumph from the equine raconteur @Mark Ponyboy Peters. A story of patience, resilience and reunification.

Former best friends reunited by adversity and injury, with the injured party finding the courage to acknowledge the truth of what caused their rift, the cause being the same reason for their reunification. Their journey to happiness is not all ha ha hee hee, with an intractable parent and the "friends" of one being anything but accepting of their new found friendship and more.

As with all of Mark's works, the characters are well-written, believable and for the most part likeable.
