My answers to Val's Postcards from the Pandemic - 5. Card #26 , #27

Card #26

Remote: (of a place) situated far from the main centres of population; distant.

Similar:

Faraway, distant, far, far off, far removed, dim and distant, isolated, out of the way, outlying, off the beaten track, secluded, in the depths of …

hard to find, lonely, in the back of beyond, in the hinterlands, off the map, in the middle of nowhere, godforsaken, obscure, inaccessible, cut-off, unreachable, far-flung, in the backwoods, lonesome, in the backveld, in the platteland, in the backblocks, in the booay, unget-at-able, in the sticks, jerkwater, in the tall timbers, Barcoo, beyond the black stump, lone, unapproachable

2.

having very little connection with or relationship to.

Card #27

It’s difficult, yes.

Getting out to have a quick bite would be nice.

Meeting to talk in person would be more effective than working out the kinks of Microsoft Teams.

Doing things in a way we aren’t accustomed to is annoying...

Today I decided to embrace the change instead of mourning what I can’t have.

I’m a f..ing um biologist! Think evolutionary.

This is my last postcard. Thank you for reading.

Adi

Thank you for reading. :)
:thankyou:  @Valkyrie for editing, talking walking by my side.

I've enjoyed this month of your poetry, Adi. You and Val did a great job capturing this difficult April. I hope we never have another one like it. Cheers! :)
