Owen met Cooper online and they became friends but that's as far as things could go. Then Cooper disappears and Owen is awakened to pounding on his door in the middle of the night.
This story is being posted as part of a flash fiction group I joined. We all post a 500-1,000 word story every week on our blogs, fitting with at least one theme from the week's choices. I am doing short stories, about one a month, with each week being a chapter in the same story. This will post every Wednesday.
