In the South, ice storms are rare and messy. It's possible to lose power and heat for days at a time.

They are also a great excuse for parties, if you've got power and heat.

This story is inspired by a big ice storm that hit Memphis, Germantown and Collierville some years ago.

In memory of our friend Carlos Hazday who left us many stories to enjoy.

A beautiful Christmas story that brings a good resolution for two young guys.

A great read anytime of the year an a fitting tribute to Carlos, who was not only an author, but a friend and mentor to many at GA.

A read to enjoy, especially in a cold part of the year.  A lift in sleet and snow leads to a very good resolution for two young guys and the father of one of the guys.  Well worth reading.

This may be a cold Christmas story, but inside the house, it is warm, toasty and full of love.  It is a wonderful tale and a worthy tribute to Carlos.
