Noah's POV

It's been a few weeks since my incident. I'm all better now, but the doctor says I should keep my cast on for a little while longer just in case. It's looking good for little Noah here.

Oh, and in the case of Jackson, he got expelled. The team got a stern talking to, and anyone who they could prove had anything to do with the attack on me was removed from the team. Sadly that meant some of their best players wouldn't be playing.

Aidyn had just finished soccer practice, so I was waiting outside the change room for him. Leo made it out a little faster than Aidyn did though. “Hey Leo, how are you today?”

“Better, thanks, Noah.” Leo's ex-boyfriend passed away recently, and he still had feelings for him. He looks like he's doing a lot better today. “Waiting for Aidyn I assume?”

“Ya, we're going on a date! We're celebrating our six months together.”

“That's right, you guys became a thing before Aidyn outed himself in the hallway.” Yeah, we were. Since our coming out, the school has been really accepting. Those who have negative opinions either don't bother talking to us or stay clear of us. So that's a good thing.

“Hey, Noah.” MY PRINCE!! Aidyn came out of the change room; hair wet from a shower. “Ready to go?”

“Yep! See ya, Leo.” He waved as we walked out towards the parking lot. “So who is gonna come pick us up?”

Aidyn smiled. “Mom is driving here; I'm driving to the restaurant.”

“Wait when did you turn 16!? And why didn't you tell me?”

Aidyn laughed. “It's New Years Eve and I don't tell people because I just don't like celebrating it.”

“How come? There has to be a reason.” I wanted to know what causes my boyfriend to feel this way.

With a sigh, he told me. “Growing up most of my friends would be too busy with family stuff to do anything. So I just decided to stop trying.” Awww that's sad!

“Well, now I have to get you a birthday present! And my birthday is April 10th by the way.”

“I'll keep that in mind.” Aidyn kissed my forehead. I blushed and grabbed his hand.

This is what I love, the ability to do stuff like this. The discovering things you didn't know about your boyfriend. I do really like learning things about Aidyn, even if they make me sad.

Like Aidyn said, his mom was there ready to pick us up. Aidyn drove us, actually really well. His mom barely had to mention anything about what to do. In no time, we were at the restaurant and waiting for our table. We ended up arriving a bit early.

“You know you didn't need to reserve to the most expensive restaurant in town.” Aidyn was insistent on it though.

Aidyn pulled me into a hug. “Yes, I did. It's a special occasion for us, and I wanted to do this. Our dinner is on me.”

“No, you're not. I'm not letting you pay the entire bill; I'm paying for my half.”

Aidyn had this shit eating grin on his face. “And where is your wallet?”

I quickly placed my hands on my pocket. No wallet was to be felt. “That's right I couldn't find it this morning!”

“That's cause I got Aaron to hide it in her room so you couldn't pay.” I huffed up, crossed my arms and stuck out my lip. “Upset with me?”

“Aidyn you don't need to go behind my back to get your way you know.” I wasn't impressed with him but at the same time it was a great to go to for a date. “but I'm very grateful for you paying for dinner.”

“Fairly noted.” Just then a hostess came and informed us our table was ready.

Apparently, Aidyn somehow knew about my love for half-circle booths cause that's where we were sitting. I love the idea of a half-circle booth, don't ask me why, I just do. Aaron might have told him... that would make sense.

Aidyn got in on my left side and of course I snuggled right up to him. He placed his arm around me like it was no big deal either. The hostess gave us a weird look though. “Your waitress will be with you shortly.” Was all she said before, POOF, gone!

We burst into laughter. “I love it! Aidyn you're the absolute best.”

“Its what I strive for.” I kissed him on the lips in the middle of the restaurant. HE returned my kiss too! He's approving a PDA!! When I backed up a bit, Aidyn smiled. “Noah... Thank you.”

“For what?”

“For getting me out of my comfort zone at school. Getting me out and proud to the world. Most importantly though, for being you.” He gave me a quick peck on the lips.

I blushed. “Well thank you for being you and dealing with everything I put you through like a champ!” It was my turn to kiss him. “I could stay this way forever...” With that, I snuggled into him even more.

“I could too...” Aidyn leaned in close, his mouth centimeters from my ear. “I love you, Noah.”

“I love you too Aidyn...”

Greyson's POV

Sky and I were home alone at his place for the night. His parents were out for a date night, and so was Aidyn. That left us free reign of the house. We were currently outside laying in the grass, with Sam, looking up at the night sky.

“Sky, what does the sky look like?” Feels weird to say sky twice in one sentence.

He thought for a moment. “It's like looking at something pitch black, with little dots of light everywhere and then a large circle rock shining towards us.”

“Do the lights look like anything?”

“Some look like spoons, others apparently look like fish, a crab, and many others. One that shows up during the winter looks like a person with a bow.” Sky explained. “What makes your interested in the sky?”

“I wanted to know what you were looking at.”

I could hear the smile in Sky's voice. “Well, you tell me what you feel then.”

“Well, I feel the grass in my hands and by my face. It wasn't sunny today, but it wasn't raining either, clouds maybe? It's chilly out but not freezing. I can smell the start of pollen in the air, spring is on the way. I can hear birds, and bugs are flying around looking for something to munch on. I can't really taste anything though...”

“Wow.” Was all Sky could say.

“What's with the 'wow'? Is that all you can say?”

“I just never thought of all those things. I can see everything, so it's like, 'Oh it's just cloudy today' I don't have to figure it out all by myself. Most of the time I don't need to rely on other senses, so I don't notice things like you do.”

“Never thought of it like that...”

I felt and heard Sky roll over onto his stomach. “Greyson... can we do something?”

“Ya, of course, what did you have in mind?” Sky was quiet. It usually means he's too shy or nervous to say something. “You don't have to be nervous Skylar.”

“I was wondering if you'd maybe want to take it a step further. You know past kissing...” Wow... that's a reason to be nervous. “I'm sorry for asking, you don't need to say anything I know your...”

I cut him off. “Ya, sure why not?”

Sky and I got up and went back into his house, Sam in tow. Once we got inside, we went to Skylar's room, and I sat down on his bed. “Umm...” Sky said as he closed his door. “May I go first?” I nodded.

I cleaned myself up and then stuck out my hand. “Can I have my shirt, PLEASE?”

“Nope!”

“Why not?”

“I was thinking maybe you could... do what I did to you, maybe.”

I dropped my head, hair covering my face. I really need a haircut. “I don't know Sky...” To be completely honest, it scared me. I didn't know what I was getting into. With all the 'dangers' of sex, it's got me nervous.

Sky places his hand on my shoulder. “You don't have to Greyson. Whenever you want to, not when I want to.”

“Thanks, Sky.”

Sky grabbed my hand. “We should probably go clean up the kitchen though. We did bake a bit and left a huge mess. We don't want mom and dad to see that!”

“Ya, that's a good idea,” I ended up in the dish pit, washing all the dishes as Sky went around cleaning the counters and sweeping the floor. By the time we were done Skylar was tired and fell asleep on the couch beside me. As I listened to whatever was on TV, Sky slowly fell onto my shoulder.

I heard the door gently close. Mr. Scott chuckled from what sounded like the kitchen. “How was your night Greyson?”

“It was great!”

“That's good. I'll get Sky off you and down to his bed.” Mr. Scott did so ever so gently. Sky didn't even wake up.

I got up when Mrs. Scott did that mom raise chin thing. “What's this on your face?” I froze fearing the worst. She rubbed my cheek. “Flour, you boys were baking again.”

“Ya, we cleaned up after ourselves though.” Close call! I think anyways.

“You should get to bed now; it's going onto 1am right now.” And suddenly I felt really tired. “Want me to help you downstairs?”

“I'm fine, thank you.”

Mr. Scott came up from downstairs. “In bed, still asleep. Goodnight Greyson.”

“Goodnight.” The Scott family really went through a loop these past couple months... they turned out okay though. That's what matters, not the journey but the end result.
