When angry voices chase you down
And you wish you could just run and hide
Feel my hand reach out to yours
I’ll be there with you, by your side
When you sit alone in the dark of night
And face the fears no one can see
Feel my arms as they wrap around you
I’ll be holding you close, so close to me
When you feel the blackness in your soul
And the silence around you closing in
Feel my breath upon your cheek
And my whispered words against your skin
When those you love give only pain
And you feel your heart must break in two
Feel my kiss upon your lips
