Haiku and Tanka - 10. Water
Calm waters
Lapping at the shore
so I drift
glistening
faceted, frigid
an ice cube
Pelting, pouring down
a gushing flow effusing
everything with wet.
Snow capped mountains melt
and flow down to crowning peaks
rising and falling
gently sweeping evergreen
dreams to cerulean seas
winding, twisting streams
carving paths into granite
through the centuries
ghostly grey
hanging just above
chilling fog
From a coral throne
Poseidon directs ocean traffic
waving his trident
to and fro and up and down
causing the waves above
in cytoplasma
bringing life to all living
things - size withstanding
crystal shores
and diamond beaches
in my dreams
chilly wet
I hate the cold rain
ick water
