surfing the net, now

in my underwear

virtually dressed



ICQ today

instant communication

can't wait to log on



digital gateway

cyberspace and worlds beyond

welcome to the web




blogging every night

a chronicle of my life

viewable by all





Cyberspace

use zeros and ones

digital computation

for binary math



Who are you out there,

anonymous to the world,

sharing my life in

cyberspace? Truth is only

virtual reality.



hardware and software

nasty financial sinkhole

essential upgrades



sitting and staring

at a screen all day, typing

my virtual life



so many chat rooms

welcome to the loony bin

never know who's there

I think you got the essense of it. Sounds like my life, not what I expected only a year ago).

 

There were blinks of humour and saddness entwined. Cyberworld, looney land. Sittin in underwear, virtually clothed.

Nah I'm not a genius... or am I? One will never know on this side of the computer. I could be anything. Or nothing. For all you know I could be the computer.
