Two guys reconnect after almost a decade of growth and tragedy. Trying to let go of the past is more difficult than it seems.
First of all, thanks for reading. I welcome comments, criticism (of the constructive variety), and questions -- though I might not answer all e-mails. Some of the stuff is just still a little difficult to talk about (edited to add the note below). I've tried to mask the characters and places.
Edit: This story is fiction, but the events are mostly based on real life -- which is why writing this story and talking about these issues is both cathartic and difficult.
