Veteran and loner saves a man from the snow. He finds he's not the only one damaged.

Eric is a loner.  He prefers living alone and moved to the Northern Rockies just to escape his demons.  Before a blizzard hits, he digs a man, Major Ben Johnson, from the snow who would have died if he didn't.  Both are veterans and Ben has PTSD.  During the week together, they fall in love.

Brad is rescued from certain death in a snowstorm by Eric. A romance follows. Besides engaging main characters, you have forests in Montana, Native American neighbors, a trip to Texas, and a wolf named Koot. An interesting plot, good dialogue, and a supporting cast of great characters make this a most enjoyable read! I highly recommend this story.

It has been a while since I've read this one.

I recall this as a must read, just like a must have in an album collection.

Think "butane" is not allowed here, like no swishy, no nylon. GAY men falling for each other. With an unknown at first common denominator, after a true rescue they find themselves attracted to each other.

The not really a town is more a spread out family that loves and cares for it's own. Love for nature, family and animal. Shows where the strength of these folks comes from.

I wrote this after I had several "dreams' about an encounter with a hairy man in a cabin in front of a fireplace. I researched a lot about Native Americans. Two spirited and their grasps on the Human gender roles. I loved the Northern Rockies. I wanted to give a story about men. Put them in Walmart and you couldn't pick them out in the crowd. I have nothing against any transexual or femmes. All gay men are not alike. I wanted a romance about men. Veterans who served and the men they love. Cinderfella was such a story. Sword fights and murder plots. They were MEN! Feel free to growl. I am. Thank you.
