Demon of fire and other poems of lust, insanity and devotion - 3. Heaven
I stand before the gates of heaven,
oblivious,
nothing else matters anymore.
I dare not close my eyes,
for i might miss its beauty and splendor.
I dare not even blink
and miss the alluring spots of shining light
and quiet darness.
I never ever dreamed it would be like this,
I never even thought
this is what Paradise would be.
I gaze into the abyss
and certainly consider
letting myself fall.
Nothing else matters anymore,
For I have seen heaven in your eyes.
