Love and Again - 1. Chapter 1: Premise

My Premise:

Maybe I have been watching too many old movies, but there is something about eternal love that gets me thinking. What if someone could love not only in this lifetime, but love eternally? I won't argue in favor of reincarnation, because most people would be in an uproar to think that they'd never go to heaven or be happy they are never damned to hell. The far east has developed many different religious and philosophical assumptions on this concepts and the writers have built tomes of eternal love stretching for all time.

How would such a love persist though? How would two people with different backgrounds throughout history fall in love and be eternally connected?

This question has been bothering me. In my mind, love is transient emotion to the moment?

If we expand love, expand the depth at which two souls can really love on, and we expand the idea of consciousness beyond our current life, then we are playing with cosmic ideas and certain belief systems. Under the law of conservation in physics, energy and matter are never destroyed or created, but only changed in form. What is consciousness then if we peel away the layers of the mind, but energy reacting continuously, which reveal the basis for a human soul.

This story is an anthology upon itself. It will detail the story of two souls in such a distinct relationship through history and time. Their relationship will not just be heterosexual or homosexual, but it will move and transition as time changes. They may be involved in relations some would decry as abusive, some may cite as adulterous, and other may consider impossible. As an ancient Chinese writer once wrote, "There are thousands of combinations for love based on thousands of variables, so love is infinite."

By the way, guys if you want me to go deeper and expand my short examinations of these two; I will go deeper. All my short little stories can become independent later on in expanded format.
