The day after Tombstone, Arizona's most famous gun battle, A.J. Ritter, the undertaker responsible for preparing the bodies of the victims, meets a young man who worked for the Clantons.

A romance inspired by two photographs from the late 19th century. Some of the historical details and people of the story are from the actual history of Franklin, NH; others, including the two main characters, are fictional. I have changed their names from the names written on the backs of the photographs.

Sam's family lives in an isolated religious community, and Sam has a secret he can't tell them.

Rich needs a loan. So he really shouldn't slip into inappropriate behavior toward his loan officer.

Pireno leaves his village to find Saghir and make a new life.

A version of "The Prisoner of Zenda" in which almost all the characters are gay but don't realize it.

Giants invade a remote village of the fading Empire, claiming valuables, food, and slaves. Pireno, the blacksmith's apprentice, finds himself with a new owner, the giant Saghir.

Andy's father pushes him to take a position as assistant to a gambler. No one but Andy seems to notice that his new employer is a snake. An actual, scaly, fork-tongued, yellow-eyed, limbless reptile.

Vic finds an old letter written by his great-uncle Martin describing a very peculiar encounter.

A romance suggested by the song "Waltzing with Bears," a song by Dale Marxen adapted from the Dr. Seuss song of the same name. Although the "present day" of the story is 2011, the events related in it take place in the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s.
