One of our heroes has finally found the courage to act on his self-knowledge of being gay - but it was far from easy as he explains with much humour to the man with whom he falls in love. The story covers several years, with some of life's ups and downs along the way including a dash of personal trauma and some intrigue.

An unexpected hook-up was never going to be a one-night-stand - that's not really Jenny's way - if it could be helped. Christmas in Berlin is magical and doesn't only bring gifts wrapped in pretty paper, some things are better left unwrapped. There's even the juxtaposition of one who does it for the money and another who does it for real.

So my friend's had a secret for a while - and I've just found out. All thanks to me paying him an unexpected visit and a pair of ladies shoes. He's a drag artiste. He's darned good at it too. I even ended up being bribed into being his quick-change dresser at the first of his gigs I went to!

Our 'adventurer' is back! His English has some Germanic traits but his lover understands him well enough however, having deciphered the question what will the answer be? There's a few moments of sadness but then there's some hot sex to makeup for them. Meeting the parents - oooo scary!

There's a new friendship in the offing and a new dimension to an old one to think about but everybody's secrets are safe - for now . . . .

This is the 'prequel' to W.T.F. Just happened - which I thought was complete in itself but then some readers on here and a few friends asked for 'what happened next' and the seed was sown.
