It's been too long since I have blogged.

It has been a hectic few months with my creative energies directed towards work rather than my craft.

On the writing front:

Worlds of Difference is overdue for an update, Exodus has its outline ready though I need to compress my chapters down further, and A Dog's Tale is different than what I usually write.

My other stories are on hiatus more or less unless there is demand for their return.

On a personal level:

I am an intellectual; a person who imbues thought and intellect that stretches through different disciplines and ideas.

I am also a practiced human beings; a person who is focused on my expertise and can create or destroy within fix parameters.

Intellectual, practical, and philosophical realities make me a thinker, but it is also a dispassionate pursuit.

I am truly grateful to have found a lover that can match my thoughts with equal emotional energy. I don't know if we will last, but I am happy to have found a companion, who's opposition complete me.

On the the professional level:

My firm went through restructuring and I was let go. It is fine as I had anticipated such a move for months. I was running my own private tax advisory business concurrently, so I am not bored or my talents being made dull. Yet, I am stuck in my own professional rut without a purpose.

Most people don't understand this about me, but I want purpose as much as I want success, a goal to strive for.
