Awesome Random Moment

I was over at the mall tonight, trying to cool down as the central air in my house is broken.

After giggling my ass off through the opening chapters of 50 Shades of Grey at Barnes and Nobles, I was in the food and noticed through the skylights that fireworks were going off. I walked out, and people were gathered outside to watch this very good and very expensive impromptou fireworks show- it went on for a good 10 to 15 minutes. Someone close to Christiana Mall must have had a lot of money to drop on fireworks, 'cause these fireworks were pretty big and it was like a mini-professional fireworks show. There was something really cool about unexpectedly seeing a fireworks show in a place that you wouldn't expect to.

Those random awesome, unplanned moments...gotta love them.

Cool. It might be a promo for the mall also. I went to Reno once, and a mall nearby was holding such event for Christmas and firework is exactly what they did. But in any case, it's really cool to see something like this when you didn't expect it to happen. BTW, every nerds know there are 256 shades of gray, not 50....

A few years ago, I was at a large mall shopping ( in the south), with my husband, and an older uncle and aunt. It was a couple of weeks before Christmas, and the temps were in the 50's. It felt like such a downer, trying to be happy Christmas shopping. I love colder weather. We went into a small restaurant there at the mall, sat down, and I was next to the window. I glanced out the window, and it was snowing like crazy. I pointed it out to my aunt, and she was stunned. Of course i knew they had started the snow machine on top of the roof, which i had totally forgotten about. It lifted my spirits so much, not only seeing the snow, but her reaction. Nice to remember those things. Thanx:)
