The rumors are all true... I have arrived safely back home... where it's WARM

It snowed all weekend! :wacko: Damn! It was so cold, and I'm already always cold... 4 hour bus ride Friday night in the rain and snow with a bunch of kids and it was dark so they couldn't even read, although many of them did fall asleep! We finally arrive and get off the bus and unload all the gear and bags. We have a quick meeting and then walk up to where we were supposed to be sleeping. Every girl has to carry their own bags... that was fun in the dark and snow

The awesome part of this story is that like 20 years ago when I was a Girl Scout and we went to this same camp we stayed in the same place and it snowed too! Apparently there has only ever been snow there when girls are camping twice in 20 years so she kept saying how lucky we were... apparently I'm twice as lucky cause I was there for both

Anyway, we had breakfast and then we went on a hike in the snow, visited the museum there, hiked some more, the girls got to learn archery... in the snow... and then I gave them the choice to go back to the nice warm cozy cabin, cause by now they were whining about how cold they were... or go canoeing like we were scheduled to do, and they picked canoeing! So proud! I'm so glad they didn't wimp out on me!

After lunch, I had one girl who looked SICK! So I took her to the health center and she had a temp of 102 degrees So, I spent the next 3 hours in the warm cozy health center waiting for her parents to come pick her up... I used my time wisely reading The Five People You Meet In Heaven... So good! I finished it on the bus ride home... All I can say is... read it!

Anyway... campfire, singing songs, etc. More snow, but an entirely fun, frosty weekend! Thanks for worrying about me I am feeling the love!

Okay, so I'm gonna actually try and work on the next chapter now that I have caught up on all I missed this weekend. So awesome that my sweetie and my darlin finally had their big V day celebration And 2 of my other guys sorta... had a great Saturday night! SO YAY!
