What's Next

So with Beneath the Current now complete, I have three stories now rattling around in my brain. So you might see a new story coming soon. It's a bit different than my usual, since the MCs are already in love when the story starts. I'm thinking of posting this one as I write it, probably a chapter a week, unless I get really going on it. The first chapter is written and I'm halfway through the second. Unfortunately, it is not a sequel to any of the story I've previously written. As much as I know some are hoping for a third installment to The Tears of the Neko, it's not happening for a while longer, sorry.

I suspect there will be shorts for Kayden, Avery and even Casey though, as prompts come along that inspire me.

But I also hope to get going on the other two stories as well. One I think I might use for the upcoming Anthology, if I get it written in time.

Just letting you know that there is more in the works, even if I'm quiet for a while!

Beneath the Current is on my list to read.  I look forward to reading whatever else you come up with.  :)

I've read all of your stories at least once and loved each one of them. I think that I can safely predict that whatever you gift to your GA readers will be as well received as its predecessors. Just don't make us wait too long, okay?

thank you so much!  I'm glad you have enjoyed them.  I hope not to disappoint.  I have a goal of posting something each week to help keep me motivated.  And knowing people are waiting for more helps encourage me to get moving as well.

So I just left a review of chapter five for Lies of the Serpent. I then when on to read Val's review because I like to see what other readers have to say.

Well didn't I get confused when she started referring to Wyatt's disappearance. I couldn't understand what that was all about. I mean, did I miss something that everyone else in the class knew about? Was I asleep at my desk?

After looking around and finding your blog again as I searched for clues, it finally dawned on me to look at the synopsis of the story again. And there it was in black and white. I had forgotten about a major event that was an integral part of the story.

At first I thought the Serpent was Darrin. This chapter has altered my thinking to the Serpent likely being female and not male as I had originally assumed. Time and new chapters will tell me if I am correct.

In the end, forgetting what was going to happen turned out for the better, I think. It allowed me to be suspicious of the mother, but also had me feeling guilty for thinking such a thought in the first place

Yes, I did give away that bit in the synopsis, but you are right, he hasn't disappeared as of chapter 5.  But as most people have guessed, it is next. Maybe I should modify the synopsis to not give that part away, but I was thinking maybe that it would draw readers in too...

I would leave it in as it indicates something suspenseful is going to happen.

I'm not sure why I forgot that Wyatt would go missing. I could hazard a guess  and say that having the earlier chapters portray mostly happy times for Bryan and Wyatt had me so caught up in the good times, I forgot that something bad was going to happen.
