Looks good. I like the Pot Luck idea. Hopefully, it will bring in more stories. But I also think it's a good idea to keep the themes, because it's interesting to see the differnt takes on the same topic.

You came up with some great ideas. I especially like the pot luck. No one can complain about not finding the right theme anymore.

Another problem might be the reception. New authors or those without a  larger fan base  could be discouraged by the lack of reaction.

Soooo. Read the stories, even when you don't know the author. And when you did , react. It's easy-peasy.  Maybe you could say a few words too? It's all we get/want. Well, a review is always cool too.

Thanks for all the hard work, Renee. I haven't written for every anthology but when I've done so, the reaction's always been great. I plan on participating in as many as I can in the future. People complaining about posting order is something I'm surprised at. What difference does it make if all our stories end up being featured at one point or another? I'll probably have more to say about anthologies in the future; for now, I encourage all authors to look at the fall themes and start working on your submission for the next round!

I am hoping that having the potluck option doesn't make the top themes redundant.

I am thinking on some ways to get every authors stories noticed more. My ideas aren't fully fleshed put yet, but I'll announce when they are.

I'm hoping the changes will encourage even more people to participate. My goal with these changes are to gain a higher level of participation while keeping any complaints to a minimum.

Renee, I'm sorry that people have been jerks to you, and I'm glad you're not giving up. Thank you for your volunteer work here at GA.

I second @Brayon’s comments , @Renee Stevens: I, too, am rather shocked and disappointed that you’ve had to deal with so many petty complaints that you would consider quitting what I’ve always seen as excellent work. Then again, as one of my mentors used to say, “Computer systems work fine... until you add users.” (Ok, perhaps not the best analogy, but people often manage to gum up the best plans.) So, kudos to you for your hard work organizing and managing the Anthologies. I’m not a creative writer, but I will promise to do a better job reading, liking, and commenting on the stories published in each anthology. Write On!
