I was inspired to write this through my prompt, someone who live their life in complete denial of themselves. It's a very interesting portrait of a man who is trapped in a world of his own creation, probably filled with regrets, compromises, and desires. It's a psychological story about accepting mortality and accepting reality even if it's bleak.

Additionally, readers will probably figure out that the young man in my story was murdered. I took inspiration on this from a certain gay serial killer that has made his rounds on Netflix recently, but I won't mention his name. I will not celebrate evil, though I will explore it.
