After reading Embers, I prefer firefighters without their habiliments!  At least in their human form.

I have many different habiliments as an author.  When writing a mystery story I wear a deerslayer hat, when writing my Halloween stories I put on a mask, when writing my Christmas stories I dress like Santa Claus, and when writing the love scenes - well, I wear nothing.  😈

The habiliments of my profession as a wire monkey are usually a pocket protector, calculator, punch down tool, cable tester and band-aids. All of that, while hanging from a ladder or skulking through a pipe chase. Afterward, I often look like a badly used pipe cleaner or chimney sweep.

Why can't I ever pull wires to some place nice?

That looks like a picture out of a horror movie. Like, you tried to use the landline to call for help, but the cable monster ate you first.
