I’m trying to figure out how to put my hair on a ponytail. I’ve.got so much of it, at my age I am afraid to cut it, so titivate it.

Sorry- I did that on my phone. This is why I call it autoincorrect.

And I was already organizing a fundraiser for Ponies With Alopecia.

So, how about a fundraiser for Humans With Alopecia?  I could use a transplant from a pony, if available.  @Myr, you might want to add @drpaladin's word to your word of the day list :)   Oops, I see it was already here on Thu May 13, 2021:blushing:

titivate -- (verb) - to make or become smart or spruce.

@Myr -- when I saw that, I had a vision of someone planting a large number of spruce trees, in very neat and long rows.

@JamesSavik, I love the term autoincorrect.   That needs to become a word for both the OED (Oxford English Dictionary) and the dictionary dot com website.
