We had a request for more dessert prompts, so here is part two of deliciousness or disaster!

PT Prompt #127

A line cook at a Michelin starred restaurant is cooking the pastry chef’s signature dessert and accidentally spills something into it.  The dessert was meant for a table celebrating their anniversary; however, it is sent instead to an undercover food critic notorious for destroying restaurants’ reputations.  What was spilt, and what is the outcome?

Describe your favorite dessert without explicitly stating what it is.  Use all five senses.

PT Prompt #127-Didn't Disney use this one for Ratatouille?  PT Prompt# 128 sounds like a good one for poets to explore.

I never saw Ratatouille.  Sounds like you need to start writing.... :P

I sent a PM to Adi for Prompt 128. Waiting for the reply before submitting it to the anthology.  If I can't meet the deadline, I'll submit it as an ongoing book like Lyrical Laments.  I've started a journal of ideas and snippets of poems to develop later.

Prompt 128 also sounds as if it could be quite messy, as you explore how it feels so you can describe it in vibrant detail.  However, I'm not sure how you can explore your favorite dessert using your auditory skill unless your favorite dessert is rice crispy treats or if you mean how it sounds as you're eating it.  Most desserts don't make any sounds before then.

I tend to make a lot of sounds when eating delicious desserts :unsure:

Prompts are wide open for interpretation, so fit sound in there however you see fit.   Crunchy... maybe it's something that makes a noise when being cooked (like boiling)... there are possibilities  ;)

I'm not whipping my mentor.  At least until I find out if he likes it.  (Minds out of the gutter folks, I'm talking about the poem I just wrote.)
